It looks perfect on my kitchen counter and doesn’t take a lot of space. I’ve used this for my top ramen soups and instant coffee and the water temperature comes out perfect and not too scolding hot.
Overall this is a solid/reliable kettle that will suit all of your coffee, tea, and more needs. It's a simple/pleasant design that functions just as expected. You won't regret the addition of this kettle into your daily kitchen routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Krupps 1.7L Glass Kettle has been a great addition to our coffee and tea bar. The glass is strong and the overall construction feels sturdy and well built. The 1.7L capacity is more than enough for morning coffee for two or three people with some water left over. Design is simple yet pleasing to any kitchen setup. It performs well and even better then our previous Krupps kettle as well as being much much quieter(which is something I never knew would be a great feature!). I also feel the design of the spout adds a noticable safety measure against potential overpouring by restricting the volume that can be poured out at one time.

I love the fact that I can set the temperature I want. It can also keep water at a certain level, so I don’t have to reheat it again. The kettle automatically turns off which is great in terms of safety. I think it’s worth it for every day use.

There are two safety features, one where the on switch turns off once the water is boiling, and the switch will shut off if the kettle gets even slightly off balance.

The auto shutoff safety feature makes sure nothing gets too too hot (and even if it did, the glass feels surprisingly durable on this!) The wide mouth also makes cleaning a breeze. I’ll be using this daily from here on out!
