Modern Farmhouse Fly-Thru Bird Feeder
The Modern Farmhouse Fly-Thru Bird Feeder was a great purchase. I put millworms, peanut splits and suet nuggets and the birds just love it. The birds that use it are robins, mockingbirds, wrens and cardinals. I’m so glad that I purchased it. I have seen an increase in bird activity after adding this feeder.

Some thoughts
The pole mount should come preinstalled. This feeder is for pole mounted systems. You used to make your feeders out of wood. It was easy to repair my old fly thru until the bear destroyed it. So I hope your new composite will outlast your wood feeders. Also I hope it is made in the United States. The birds love it. That is what counts for now.

Will the birds like this ?
I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this item as I wasn't sure that the birds would visit the feeder - seeing as they're already very skittish about anything new. However, I loaded the tray with bird seed and the first bird jumped into the feeder within 30 minutes. Now, I've seen as many as eight birds (small ones, mind you) chowing down from the feeder while another dozen squabble over who's going to be next to get in. It's quite the entertaining show.

Both of us here love how easy the Fly Thru Bird Feeder is to clean. We hav 4 of the Fly-Thru right now and we will only use those from now on. Great idea with having the bottom come out to make cleaning easier....

You can't believe how nice this birdfeeder is. It looks beautiful and is wonderfully constructed. The color is great. If anyone out there needs a great birdfeeder, this is it. I bought two. My deck is going to be stained soon and I know how great they will look with the new stain.

Great Bird Feeder!
I haven’t had this feeder very long but I will tell you what I think. The birds love this feeder. The feeder is made out of strong material that does not rot. The feeder is well made. I like the color of this feeder. So far the raccoons haven’t tore this feeder apart. All my other bird feeders that I had were destroyed by raccoons. I will let you know later on this. I don’t think a raccoon can destroy this feeder. I think you will love this feeder. The feeder is worth the money.

Well made feeder
I purchased this feeder for my mom and it's perfect. The birds where she lives prefer a platform feeder but I couldn't find one that was small like this feeder. They were all so huge. Luckily, the roof of this feeder could be removed to create an open platform feeder. I left the metal sides that held up the roof in place as perches for the birds and they love it.

This feeder is excellent in every way. Sturdy, attractive, well-made, and easy to fill and clean. Best of all, the cardinals (and many other birds) love it! Just make sure to fill it with something squirrels don't like, such as safflower seed. Five stars for this great product!
