Birds aren't using it
I like this feeder, but the birds don't and not sure why. Theres 3 other feeders with the same food - and they will empy those feeders and still are hesitant to jump on this one. We've had 6-12 snow on the ground so there's not too many options!

Great, well thought out feeder.
Most birds find it easy to feed on the mesh, but those who like to perch have a hard time. The screening needs to have bigger holes. The blackoil sunflowers don't always fall just right and are hard to remove. So far no Cardinals have used it. However, it is still better than most feeders out there.

Large capacity, large holes
This feeder is for large seeds, such as black oil sunflower seeds. It will not work for no-mess (hulless seeds). If you have a lot of bird traffic and don't mind a lot of seed shells on the ground, this high capacity feeder might be just the thing.

Not what I thought
This feeder is much smaller than the feeder I was trying to replace after a number of years--- my birds loved the old one. The wire cylinder for the seed is not coated like my previous one. After several weeks the birds still haven't flocked to it. Disappointed!

Small bird equipment .
It has become a parent that the holes in the screen are so small that the birds are not very interested. Too hard to get to the seed if you’re using sunflower seeds

Birds absolutely love this feeder. They love getting the black oil sunflower seeds off the tray and the holes are generous enough for them to easily get them out of the mesh. I give it a 10!!

Bird feeder
This bird feeder is great for the black sunflower seed. This is the second one we have purchased and the birds love it. The wire for our first one broke after about 5 years but that can be attributed to the squirrels. Very happy with the product

Large seed is best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great size feeder however the mesh keeping the seed in is large so some of the smaller seeds will fall out easier. A seed like a sun flower is a better seed, holds better in the cylinder mesh.

A bird feeder that will last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bird feeder is easy to refill with the steel clip that holds down the lid. It is heavy duty and looks like it will not get beaten up by the birds like my last few feeders. It holds a lot of seed and the birds can easily land on the ledge.

Great feeder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that spring is here I wanted to get a good quality bird feeder. I chose Birds Choice- Sunflower Seed Bird Feeder in Green. I'm so pleased with this design. It's made to prevent the squirrels from stealing the food and has a good sized ledge for the birds to sit and eat, while I get to enjoy them coming back day after day.
