Quality does not match the price tag
It’s a nice shelf but not for the price tag.. there are chips and a small nail sticking out of one of the vertical slots. There is wood glue in random places and just doesn’t present as good quality. I wanted to love it but unfortunately I don’t.. and as others have mentioned, it does not fit books..

Poor quality control
The shelf itself is quite nice and seems sturdy. However, there’s some quality control issues when ordering online. I ordered two of these shelves and both arrived with missing screws and/or anchors. One of the shelves also arrived with a large black scrape on the front and some other small gouges. Will definitely be returning at least one of them.

Beautiful little shelf BUT the way it was shown in the picture is deceiving, I had hoped to put some books in it but it's too small for books, I had some paperbacks that didn't fit in it, very disappointing and decided to return it. The shelf is very well constructed, heavy and solid and has a beautiful finish! It is great for any other use other than books!
