Pioneer Pastures High Protein Vanilla Milk Shake - 11 fl oz

These shakes are great! It is impossible to find products with no seed oil, low sugar, low fat and no artificial sweeteners! Pioneer pastures came through!

I get it about texture- sometimes but not always. I think they need to add more lecithin to emulsify it. The vanilla boxes that have been in the refrigerator for a week seem to get the gloppy texture. Only put the in fridge when you’re going to use it soon. Take a slug to make room in the box and then shake really well, that usually works. Take an enzyme when you have a shake or any kind of big protein load, it’s helpful in digesting proteins and keeps you from feeling bloated. I don’t want all the sicky sweetness or thickeners and stevia in my food. The Pioneer Pastures vanilla and chocolate high protein shakes are the cleanest and most transparent ingredients you’ll find on the shelves. And ALL protein shakes, pre made or powdered, have some aspect of flavor weirdness. I like them and do what I mention above and am happy with them. Pioneer Pastures make fantastic products! I also use these as a starter for smoothies with frozen fruit or whatever and enjoy them a lot!

CHUNKY! I statyed to drink it out of the bottle and the top half was fine. then about halfway through it got thick and chunky. I thought maybe I didn't shake it well enough so I shook it some more. nope! Then I worried it had gone bad, started freaking out because I'm pregnant and that would be awful. Read the reviews and it just seems to be the trend with this. I won't be purchasing again.

Weird taste and chunky consistency try to drink it and I had to throw it away 😞

The taste is good however at the bottom it’s super clumpy and thick and the texture made me cringe. As soon as I saw the thickness I stopped pouring. I mixed it in my iced coffee, so there wasn’t any going back and it did mix well but the texture definitely turned me off. I would buy again based on the taste, but they gotta do something about the thickness….

This was okay, I've had worse. It is very thick, even after shaking it like crazy, you get little chunks which is kind of gross. if you're a texture person, maybe skip it, which I'm going to do. For some reason, it also upsets my stomach. Not much flavor, or maybe I was too distracted with the thickness and chunks to notice the flavor.

Not too sweet and tastes like basic vanilla. Drinking it as is and cold isn’t so bad. But I usually mix my vanilla shakes with cold brew coffee and this shake was too chunky for that.

I shook this up for a solid 30 seconds like I do my other protein shakes and then the first drink I took was nothing but a slimy disgusting chunk!

honestly i really enjoy this. it feels light and tastes close to flavored almond/soy milk. only issue i have is that it doesn’t fully mix together even when you shake it i drank the end and it was complete slime, not a great texture. but the rest of the drink was nice and tasted good

Maybe the worst vanilla protein drink I’ve had. Weird chalky texture and a flavor so strange I thought something was wrong with it. It doesn’t taste like milk or vanilla. I threw the rest away.

I'm not a protein shake person but it's been recently suggested I can add them to my diet and to try this brand specifically. Not sure what a protein shake should taste like but it was enjoyable as far as I'm concerned. Still not sure if protein shake are for me, but if I do start drinking them more, no reason not to go with this brand over another.

It’s fine from a health and macro standpoint but it’s slimy, like, snot gunk gobbled at the bottom slimy. I don’t know why they think they need to add gelatinous thickeners to these shakes. It’s disgusting and ruins the drink. Flavor was just mildly bearable at best as well.

These taste good to me, have high protein, and the ingredients aren’t dangerous. But the one big issue is the slimy consistency of the texture. There’s clumps of slime within the drink, so much to the point that I poured some into a bowl to see what I was drinking. Even shaking well couldn’t fix this. I’m assuming it’s the acacia gum or the gellan gum causing this problem. But it needs to be corrected.

Ughh this is so nasty. I thought this was going to be similar to fair life. It has an odd aftertaste. The vanilla flavor is also EXTREMELY mild but even with that all you taste is artificial flavors. Super gross. Don’t recommend.

I really wanted to like these protein shakes. I usually drink Fairlife protein shakes and they're not the healthiest. But these are absolutely disgusting-chalky, chunky and weird tasting. Was super disappointed and they're not cheap either!! Save your money and learn from my mistake-don't buy!

DO NOT BUY. Smells like expired milk and tastes like liquid made with chalk. This should never be on the market. This is crazy

I'd consider myself something of a protein shake connoisseur... and these are legit! Great taste, not sickly sweet and packed with good ingredients. My new go to drink after working out :-)

I usually do not like protein drinks...but this one was hands down yummy! Its very creamy....I liked the chunks of cream LOL!! It was like Cool Whip.

Terribly thick and lacks flavor. Tastes like bland Soylent with a hint of artificial vanilla flavoring. Definitely expected more from a $3+ drink.
