Q: Is the liquid version more potent than the powder? For some reasons my baby prefers the liquid premade ones. Also the liquid ones look darker than the powder version. Am I wrong?

A: Hello, Ash! Enfamil Optimum has naturally occurring MFGM (Milk Fat Globule Membrane) components and well as LnNT (Lacto-N-tetraose) HMO, components also found in breast milk. Enfamil NeuroPro Infant has naturally occurring MFGM components, however, it does not contain LnNT (Lacto-N-tetraose) HMO. I bought this product 3 months ago, when I struggling to pump breastmilk and I needed a supplement instead. This worked really well for infant, who was strictly breastfed, he enjoyed it. Also, he is potential carrier for food allergies; such as lactose, this is a reliable approach. He still drinks breastmilk and formula just fine, perfectly healthy baby.

I am so grateful we found this formula. It’s more expensive, sure. But it is SO WORTH IT for my LO. My baby has a medical condition that is basically fighting constant dehydration, meaning he should be drinking MORE and even diluting formula slightly. However, it was a fight even just to get to 24 oz. We tried several other formulas including some Enfamil products just in case it was the formula. I had a coupon and bought a small thing of this kind and he CHUGGED it. For the first time since his birth, he’s above the 20% in weight. He happily drinks now, spits up like never, and because it’s lower in sodium, it helps keep that level in check which is helping with his condition. I wish so badly it wasn’t so expensive, but I’ll do what I have to, to keep getting this kind. He’s THRIVING.
