Interesting spongy texture, mild flavor
I got these on a whim after hearing people rave about them. I don't eat a ton of candy anymore but am definitely partial to something chewy, so these sounded right up my alley. Now that I've had them, I'm kind of unsure how to describe them. The texture is sort of like a mix between a marshmallow and a gummy candy, so a bit spongier than something like a gummy bear or a sour worm. The flavor is what I can only describe as "berry" - I have no idea what kind of berry, maybe a mix of strawberry and raspberry with a bit of cream thrown in, fairly mild and inoffensive. I didn't find they got stuck in my teeth, which is nice for a gummy. Overall, they were just okay. I wouldn't say they were bad, but I wouldn't say they were good, just a solid middle of the road. I probably would not buy them again but wouldn't mind eating one or two if they were offered to me. I probably wouldn't recommend them because they didn't really stand out enough, either in a weird or good way, to tell someone about them. I also found they were a bit expensive for what they are, but considering they are originally from the UK, I can see why they would be a little more expensive.
