This product is not specifically tested to help soothe normal to dry skin, but has not been tested specifically to treat acne or blotchy skin. For acne, and post acne marks we suggest you try our Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser. La Roche-Posay's best acne cleanser removes excess oil and helps clear acne breakouts without stripping the skin's moisture. This salicylic acid face wash is formulated with 2% salicylic acid and lipo-hydroxy acid to remove impurities without harsh scrub particles that may irritate skin. We hope you will give this product a try soon.

So far so good I have been using this for an week and I can tell the difference all ready I have rosacea and this has tone down the redness ninety five percent I am truly happy that I found this I was using Derma e for over fifteen year's not sure what happen don't know if they change the ingredients or what but it stop working for me so I had to go on the hunt for something else. It Burns!

I have eczema on my face that can especially be a problem in colder weather. I was looking for a face wash that would help with the eczema but would not break me out, as I also have acne-prone skin. Unfortunately, this one was not a winner. Every time I use it on my face, it literally burns! I tried to continue to use it anyway, thinking that perhaps I just had to adjust to it, but the burning has not improved. Now my eczema has worsened, and I have red patches all over my face. I've used other face washes that can cause irritation or that dry out my skin and exacerbate the eczema over time, but I've never had a face wash literally burn as soon as it touches my face. Very frustrating that this is described as being good for sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, especially skin that is susceptible to eczema, I would stay away from this one.
