The (2.8 fl. oz.) variant of this item is packaged in a laminated squeeze tube to ensure the longest possible shelf life for this formula. This squeeze tube has an "inner foil seal" on the threaded end of the tube (under the plastic tip/cap) that must be completely punctured/removed. If this foil seal is not completely punctured/removed or the nozzle opening is cut too finely, it will create a too narrow of a restriction for the product to flow without the use of excessive force. To prevent the tube wall from rupturing, the product will bypass the crimped seal at the end of the tube. This is a fail-safe designed to prevent the tube wall from rupturing. This condition can also occur if the product has thickened due to exceeding its shelf life or if dried material is physically blocking the nozzle (between initial use/re-use attempts). If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, the product may be returned to the point of purchase or returned directly to DAP for a refund of your purchase price.
