Not worth it

It’s very cute but spills super easily and not very easy to use in my opinion!

Great little straw cup to

Great little straw cup to help teach straw skills! Was struggling with traditional straw cup, transitioned to this cup with ability to squeeze, and my 9 month old can now drink a couple oz of water without assistance! No significant leakage but have not traveled with extensively, and generally keep upright when filled. Not many moving parts so easy to keep clean

cute but give it a miss

cute but not functional. I dont love bear cup the bear part is heavy plastic so makes it top heavy and it's harder to seal then a screw on also it's wider so it's harder for my baby to hold. also hard to seal or maybe it just still leaks when closed.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re sorry to hear you’ve had trouble with the cup and want to help ensure you’re getting the best experience with it. The Honey Bear Cup features an all-silicone lid that screws onto the cup for a secure, leak-resistant fit. As you tighten the lid, you’ll notice small triangle indicators on both the lid and the cup base—these should line up when the lid is fully secured. This alignment is a helpful visual cue that the lid has been tightened correctly. If you have any questions or would like additional assistance, our Customer Service team is happy to help at cserv@munchkin.com or by call/text at 1-800-344-2999.

Great first cup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My one year old is loving this cup! It doesn’t spill. It’s a great price. I love how the handles are connected to the lid. Super easy to clean. My baby understood how to drink from a straw right away.

Throwing mine away

My baby is in a throwing phase and every time he throw it, the lid pops off and milk spills everywhere. Love the three piece, cute, easy-clean design but hate that the lid constantly pops off.

Great cup!

Adorable! Soft squishy cup. Does not spill! The straw doesn’t touch the floor when rolling which is a bonus! My 12 month old was excited to use it and it’s her favorite cup!

Yes!

I have purchased so many cups while starting my baby out on water. This one is by far our favorite. Easy to squeeze, easy to clean, doesn’t spill when tipped over. We love it!

Effective and cute!

My toddler loves this cup. He was having a really hard time picking up how to use a straw, so I bought this one for him. He was breastfed and never used a bottle so it was hard getting him to understand to suck on it. With this cup and its squeeze-able sides, he was finally able to pick up on it! He got it within seconds and now he can drink through (almost) every straw. It’s leak proof but the seal is easy enough for him to drink through without any effort. I tried to give him a different, name brand straw cup and the seal was too difficult for him. He only whined with that cup. This one also comes apart so there’s no mold when cleaning! He loves the cup. 10/10.

Worked great for our 9-month-old, not so much for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried the Munchkin Gentle™ Transition First Straw Cup with our 2-year-old first and it didn’t go great. She squeezed the cup and water shot everywhere, then pulled the lid off and dumped the rest out. So if you have a strong, curious toddler, just know it’s not completely mess-proof. That said, it worked great for our 9-month-old. The soft straw is gentle on gums and the flow is a little fast for a true beginner, but it actually helps them figure out how straws work quickly. I also like that you can gently squeeze the cup to push liquid up through the straw to show them how it works. That feature made a big difference for us. Overall, I think this cup is better suited for younger babies who are just transitioning from bottles. For older toddlers who like to test limits, it may turn into a splash zone. Would recommend for the 6 to 12 month stage for sure.

Parent and toddler friendly

Cute little cup that is easy to wash. only three parts and easy to assemble. I threw away all my daughter's straw cups we use for milk to replace with just one of this since it is easier to use and wash. She loves the cute design too.

Taught my 11 month old how to use a straw!

This taught my daughter how to use a straw within a couple of minutes! I was so proud. She loves the Koala sippy cup version of this so I got the matching bear straw cup. Both are amazing. We tried the como tomo straw cup, and the BOON straw cup for a couple of months now but she wasn’t able to figure either of them out. With this bear cup, you can squeeze it and assist them so they realize there’s something to get out of the straw. Super cute and easy to clean so far. DOES leak here and there if it gets tipped over but still worth the purchase. Her face lights up everytime she sees either this cup or the koala face cup lol it’s cute they make her laugh

Love this cup since it’s squeezable it’s perfect to teach how to drink from a straw she learned in under a week and my daughter hasn’t spilled water anywhere with it
