We bought this feeder on a whim in store. We set it up as the first feeder on our property with some suet and a nut & fruit seed blend. It took a coule of days for the birds to find it and since then, they've been coming constantly. The suet is far less popular than the seed blend so I wonder if I'll use the suet cages consistently or not. We mostly get finches, sparrows, and common grackles to the feeder. It is very easy to refill and seems durable. We're happy with our purchase.

Suet cage was bolted on upside-down.
I bought this in store and didn’t notice one of the suet cages was bolted on upside-down—meaning it can’t hold suet at all on that side. (I didn’t realize until I’d already snipped the tags and filled the center with seeds, so I can’t return it.) And it hangs lopsidedly when there’s a suet brick on only one side, which then makes the shallow platform spill seeds. That said, I think a non-defective one of these would be great—the center holds a good amount of seeds, filling it was extremely easy, and the suet holders fit a standard-sized brick.
