Very pretty but left on my stove while cooking dinner in the oven and is now stained yellow (assuming from the rear vents of the oven -idk either way this shouldn’t happen). Also chips very easily. Terrible quality considering I have had for less than a month.

I wish I would have seen Eva’s review prior to purchasing because the review is spot on. It is a beautiful kettle, but poor functionality. Some might appreciate the lack of whistle, but the spilling of water while pouring is frustrating. Fortunately I got this on sale because it is not worth its original price.

No whistle
It doesn’t whistle which defeats the purpose of even having it

This kettle is just for looks.
This tea kettle is nice to look at but not that functional. It doesn’t whistle when it’s boiling, steam comes out of the nozzle. When you fill it up more than halfway when it boils it spits all over the stove. I only fill it up halfway and when I go to pour the water into my cup it spits all over anyway. If you want an aesthetically pleasing kettle this is for you but if you want a functional kettle save the extra bucks and get regular kettle. You will be better off.

This kettle is a fire hazard, unfortunately. It is beautiful, but there is no whistle when the water boils. I forgot I had turned it on at one point, and it boiled down until the white enamel coating on the kettle itself started burning. I love how it looks but unfortunately can’t recommend it.

Cute Tea kettle
Cute Tea Kettle but purchased it as a gift and after reading the reviews I am not sure if it’s safe to give but if I do I’ll tell my daughter it’s more of a decorative item than functional

Poor packaging
The tea kettle is cute, the one star review is in hopes Target will take notice, my complaint is how Target packed it! No plastic wrap, thrown into a large box with a metal tray, a wicker basket, and pair of shoes. The tea pot is chipped in several places, the tray is scratched, and the shoe box has holes in it . This type of packing happens all the time! Do better Target!

Cute but not practical for daily use
Cute kettle, great and would recommend if you want a piece of decoration and plans on never/rarely use it. It doesn’t have the “whistle” feature most old tea pots would have, and it boils very quiet being half full (maximum fill volume) so you’d have no clue the water is boiled unless you’re looking at it. If you are planning on using it daily like I did, I suggest reevaluating that option. I have already set it on stove and only remembered about it still being there half an hour after too many times. Plus I’m not a fan of the coating it has on the interior, I’m only boiling water and doesn’t need it to be nonstick, so not sure what purpose the coating serves. Plain stainless steel would’ve been perfect, we don’t need more microplastic and chemicals added when it doesn’t even serve any other purpose.

It came damaged due to the shipping. There was absolutely not packaging. Lid and pot had chucks missing of the coating. You could see the stainless steel.

I love this tea kettle in the way it looks. However when you pour the water out it jumps out. I don’t know how to explain but it’s dangerous. It also doesn’t whistle. Which isn’t a big deal. But the spout is a problem. It also burned on the bottom. This will be going back. I never review but people need to know cause it’s not expected and you can really be burned .
