The Woobles Fred the Dino Crochet Kit

The video tutorial was very difficult to follow as you had to keep going back and forth between screens. It was nearly impossible to keep the yarn in place while following the instructions.

Kit had everything it said listed. Easy kit to work with, even a kid can do it.

I’ve never crocheted before and I loved that the kit includes everything you need. The online video tutorials are especially helpful if you’re a visual learner. The project size is perfect for beginners and the yarn makes it easy to see stitch and pattern clearly. The kit teaches all the basics you need to get started. It is a bit pricey, but it is a fantastic set. I’d definitely be picking up more kits as gifts!

I love how easy it is to use and how everything comes in nice little packages. My kids were able to figure it out really easily and they aren't gonna be pros but they are doing better than I expected 10 out of 10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never crocheted a day in my life but I'm in the market for a new hobby and this seemed like a good introduction, but sadly, it wasn't. You start off with a piece already made, so if you're someone like me that wants to know how to start from the very beginning, this isn't going to help. Some of the videos won't play, and some of the videos are drawn out, while some things get skipped. I had to restart twice before I got the hang of it. I appreciate that she tries to get you to read a pattern but it's introduced at an odd time and she just kind of glazes over the pattern. Having the pattern as you go along and showing what goes where on the pattern vs what you're making would've been helpful. Overall it takes some getting used to. Would I buy another kit though? Probably not.

Each kit comes with everything you need to crochet a cute little friend. There are st y step videos that instruct you what you need to do. I completed the first stitch and then verything went awry. The green clips both fell off the starter piece, and I had no idea where hey were supposed to go. It was also difficult for me to hold everything and clicking for the next instructional video on my phone. I was really looking forward to making a cute little dinosaur, but it just wasn't in the cards for me. I do plan on holding onto this kit and trying to figure it out without the starter piece.

It comes with everything you need basically besides scissors. It had instructions to go online for the directions on how to make your Wooble and learn to crochet in the process. Not only do you learn techniques and terminology, you learn how to read a pattern and use stitch markers. The whole process was super fun. I have experience with crochet, but it’s been a lot of years and this whole tutorial taught it all perfectly. This is amazing for a beginner. I like that you can stop when needed and replay things. The final product is great! Super cute! I am super happy with the Dinosaur that I made and the new skills I learned along the way. All in all, this is a great crochet kit! It taught crochet well, the end result is adorable, and I feel like I’ve truly learned new skills. I would absolutely recommend it!

Inside there is a QR code that leads you to instructional videos. The videos are very detailed and easy to folllow, making it possible for anyone to learn how to crochet. The instructions were easy to follow. My daughter is 7 so we did the activity together until she was comfortable and understood how it works. I would say the project went very smoothly overall. She took a lot of pride in creating this little stuffy. She showed all her friends immediately after it was finished!
