The hair has lasted well so far & isn’t all matted, so that’s encouraging. Her arms and legs can move in several different ways, so I imagine that is more interesting for older girls. The accessories are cute and fun, but small. But that didn’t bother my daughter. She loved applying the make up to the doll. The sun glasses don’t stay on perfectly but that’s okay. The little cat is a fun accessory too. My daughter loved her having a little cat. This dolls outfit came with lace tights, which were difficult for my daughter to put back on once she removed them, but that’s okay. The dress is cute without the tights too. Overall, quality is really nice & my daughter enjoys the doll!

I like the braided hair in the front and the accessories she came with like her cute glasses. She’s made high quality with nice hair. My 6 year old daughter has always loved Barbie’s and she’s starting a Dream Besties collection now.

She loved her hair, her cat and the other accessories especially her belt and sunglasses. She played with it for hours and had to go to bed. She actually slept with the doll. She cannot wait to get more so they can play together. This Barbie is well made and good quality. I highly recommend this for the children in your life. Buy it you won’t be sorry.

From the braided crown on her head to the tiny bows on her dress and the tiny "mascara" wand, it's those little things the really add to the doll. My daughter was excited that she came with a pet and I thought that the pink in her hair was pretty cool. I was quite impressed with this Bestie doll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dream Besties Barbie is a cute and fun doll to play with. My 8 year old loves the accessories she came with, especially the makeup. She bends at the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. These dolls are about the same height as the original Barbie, but have larger heads and are slightly broader. Some regular Barbie clothes may fit, but I don’t think shoes will. She comes with her own shoes though, as well as an outfit, necklace, sunglasses, a purse, makeup, and even a pet kitten.

She played with it for hours by having her drive the Barbie car with another Barbie and going shopping and having lunch. She had so much fun with and plays with the Barbie everyday.

I love her Lacey stockings and her white, high heel boots. Her dress fabric is almost like a stiff, thin jeans material, but it works for what kind of dress it is. because it’s a shorter dress and it stays where it’s put. it is cute and good quality. I really like that she has articulation in many of her joints, including neck tilt shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. One drawback of her hip joints range of motion is that the only go out a little bit. For example – she cannot do a straddle. However she can sit in a chair or on the floor. I like that her hands can touch her head and do cute poses. I love her hairstyle-French braids on both sides of the front of her hair. Her hair feels very silky and light, and There was a little bit of hair loss straight out of the package. Her accessories are really cute. I love the cat and that eyelash mascara wand actually closes! The lipstick is cool also. I was hesitant to get any of the dream besties for my regular Barbie collection due to the larger head size. However, I’m pleasantly surprised that I love her, and her large face and eyes have a youthful sweet appearance. :-)

She’s fully poseable and has gorgeous blonde hair with light pink highlights. My five y/o granddaughter loves playing with her and Malibu’s other bestie Brooklyn! The cons of this doll are the the lip compact comes apart easily and the glasses arms are flimsy. Overall this doll is a great addition to our playtime fun!

Things i noticed about it were that the body type had much more muscle definition than your typical Barbie with joints and articulation to make it easier to position without fear of damaging it. The hair is softer and easier to brush. Also, the color streak makes it more modern and fashionable. I also thought the accessories, especially the glasses, purse, and pet were fun inclusions. The only drawbacks i found were that i felt the smaller accessories would be too easily lost. It would have been nice if they actually fit into the purse. Also, since this is a barbie product, it's too bad other barbie clothing doesn't fit, but that makes sense since it is a different line within barbie.

What makes this doll unique is that you're able to move her at all the joints: wrists, elbows, knees, ect.
