A: This would require at least a 2.5 gallon bag. Most trash bags advertised as "small trash" 4 gallon would fit.

Good size for a small kitchen trash or large bathroom trash. Thin, modern design is perfect for most styles. I appreciate the quality, the step open option has not failed even after long term use. I know the stainless steel can rust after some time if it has prolonged contact with water (yes, even “stainless steel” finishes) so I recommend cleaning often to avoid stains.

This trash can is on the smaller side, but since I don’t tend to have a lot of trash in my room, the fact that it opens by pushing down on a peddle, and at a price point of $17, I think it’s a good deal. There is a bucket inside of it that actually holds the trash, so if for some reason you don’t use a liner, you can take it out and wash it. It’s narrow design also makes it easy to fit in tighter spaces, so it doesn’t take up a lot of room and is not an eyesore. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.

It’s a great size for bedroom, office or bathroom. Easy open with foot pedal and cleans relatively easily. Buyer beware, if you use heavy cleaners or salts in your bath. This is metal. This will rust. This will show scratches. I must have had some cleaner on my shoe the last time I scrubbed the shower tiles or something, as there is now rust on the foot pedal, around the outside of the lid and inside the lid and can. We have had it for about 2 months. If we repurchase we will be buying a can of clear spray paint or some kind of protective coating.

At first, I loved this trash can. I loved it so much I bought 2, one for each bathroom. However, after owning them for less than 6 months, they rusted. Otherwise, they are great. Perfect size for the bathroom or any small room. But not rust proof.

Love this trashcan. I wanted a bathroom trashcan with a lid but also looked nice and this did the trick. Love the ease of opening, even my 2 year old can do it. Loved it so much I bought a second for my other bathroom. We sometimes put diapers in there and it seems to block the smell as well. I noticed in store some were dented. I’m assuming from packing/unpacking but since getting it home I haven’t noticed any new dents pop up

I had been look a small step trash can for our dogs poop and Target, as always, came through with the best deal. I love how small it is because we dump it out regularly so it won't stink. The best thing is that it has a plastic removable can inside and I can wash it without damaging the stainless steel.

I’m generally pleased with this trashcan. It is a good size and I like that the inside bucket can be removed and washed. Two things I don’t like are that the peddle seems to fall off over time and the inside top is getting rusty.
