I wasn’t expecting much because a lot of these blonde lightening shampoos have been total disappointment. John Freida’s lightening shampoo and conditioner didn’t disappoint, it actually works and the best thing is that it didn’t leave my hair dry like most lightening shampoos. The conditioner did its thing and added more softness and moisture and left my hair nice and shiny. I must say I love the package as well. Eye-catching for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the shampoo and conditioner set okay. I did not experience much color lightening even after multiple uses. I saw a small tone down towards the roots where I tend to be more brassy. The shampoo is thin and pours out of the squeeze tube with the lightest touch. The conditioner is also far thinner than I like. It also came out of the tube and leaked out when I opened the cap; resulting in a lot pouring out on the shower floor. My hair did get clean; however it dried my strands and gave me tangles. It was challenge to comb out. Overall, I was not impressed. I did receive this set as a free sample from Pinchme.

I found that the shampoo did not lather well, but it cleaned my hair gently and I enjoyed the scent. The conditioner did a good job detangling my hair and left it looking in good condition. I did like how my hair looked and felt after use, but did not see any difference in the color shade of my hair. I received these products for free in exchange for my honest opinion

I have blonde hair naturally with highlights and this shampoo did seem to work! The shampoo lathers very well and really cleans the hair from root to tip. The conditioner was not too heavy for my fine hair. One of my favorite things about this product is the scent. The shampoo and conditioner have this amazing bright, citrus smell and it makes your hair smell and look really fresh and clean. I don’t think I experienced much of a changed until after my 3rd use but then it was very noticeable. It definitely lightened the root area and brought out my highlights. Just try this product! You won’t be disappointed!
