It is super light on the skin, and it does not have a greasy feel at all, which is as big plus. It seems to absorb quickly and it just leaves my skin soft without that heavy feeling. My skin is a bit sensitive, and it has not irritated it at all, which is hard to find. I also really like it because it does not have a strong smell. Overall. it is a simple, easy-to-use lotion that does not cause me any sensitivity issues.

Surprisingly it has very little scent. It protects great and does not cause me to stop sweating. I will definitely be getting this over and over again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm seriously impressed with this share sensitive SPF 50 banana boat sunscreen. Usually banana boat has this overwhelming white cast but this new formula has absolutely no white cast on my light medium skin. It is a chemical sunscreen with SPF 50 and no alcohol in the formula. It has a shiny satin finish but still elegant enough to wear on your face. I really love that generous 6 oz bottle and it is water resistant for 80 minutes which is really nice. It still has that distinctive sunscreen smell but not very strong. I do worry about the coverage SPF 50 because it is so sheer and it really does take a long time to rub in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who is extremely pale and allergic to most sunscreens, I don’t get to enjoy spending much time outside on nice, sunny summer days or when on vacation. Or, when I do and use a sunscreen I’m allergic to, I end up dealing with a rash for days or weeks after. However, the the Banana Boat Sheer Sensitive Body Lotion, SPF 50, I will actually be able to enjoy the sun this year! For me, as long as I don’t get a rash or a sunburn, I am willing to put up with most if not all of the regular negative effects of sunscreen. This claims to be non-greasy, but even after a couple of ours, my skin is slightly oily to the touch (in the image, the right side of my arm closest to the Banana Boat sunscreen has the sunscreen on it, and there is a slight sheen). Also, I’m not the best person to test white cast for sunscreen, but there wasn’t any obvious cast on my skin. This does go above and beyond for water resistance! As someone who lives by a lake and hasn’t spent as much time on it as I would like due to sun exposure, I am really looking forward to using this sunscreen while out on the water. The drawback to it being so good at water resistance is that I struggled to wash it off at the end of the day. Even after 4 rounds of soap and exfoliation, I still could smell it on my arm. Overall, this is a fantastic sunscreen for sensitive skin and will be my go-to SPF protection for the summer!

Most lotions feel thick and sticky but this one felt very lightweight and smooth and truly goes sheer on your skin. It was very easy to work into my skin and it felt like a little would go a long way. I even tried washing it off of my arm after applying and could still smell it on my arm, so I’m very optimistic for how it will perform around water for an extended period of time. And a bonus, it’s unscented but doesn’t have that strong sunscreen smell. It’s more subtle which I love. I think it’s definitely worth a try for anyone looking for a light, durable sunscreen with high SPF.

There was no residue on his hands after which is great since other brands tend to leave an off feel. The bottle it self had a silicone tips so it didn’t leave any of the sunscreen on the tip. This is a great option for sensitive skin. No complaints after of irritation!

Absolutely 100% fragrance free. I have very sensitive skin and always try to use sensitive skin products. After application I got light tingling , it’s pleasant and non irritative for about a minute or two while it settled. Overall, very happy to bring it with me on walks and vacations !

I remember the vibrant tropical scent every time we went to the beach or the pool. Well now you can use the brand you trust for sun protection without the scent! This sheer sensitive skin formula is great. It goes on smooth and absorbs easily. The formula is lightweight and not sticky. I appreciate an SPF of 50 on my fair skin. All from a trusted brand! A part of me will always miss the classic fragrance of Banana Boat but my skin appreciates the limited ingredients in the new formula!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my experience testing out the Banana Boat Sheer Sensitive Sunscreen, here are the observations about the product that stood out to me. Compared to other sunscreens I’ve used, (I’m redheaded and have fair skin, so I need lots of sunscreen often) I noticed that there are little to no white streaks left on my skin which is a major positive. One thing that I appreciate about the sunscreen as well, is the lack of an in-your-face odor of a typical sunscreen. The fragrance of this sunscreen is hardly noticeable, which is an uncommon aspect with most sunscreens I have used in my life time. There is also relatively no greasy feel whatsoever that was left on my skin. One thing I was not too excited about, was the ingredient list in this bottle. I prefer cleaner ingredients in the sunscreens that I use, and there is toxic chemicals being used in this formula. Other than that, this is a solid, all around sunscreen, that could easily be applied whenever. 8/10 for me.

It wasn't difficult to rub into my skin and didn't leave behind any white cast. It dried down pretty quickly and easily absorbed into my skin without leaving me feeling greasy. It didn't have an overwhelming scent either, which was very much appreciated. I found it to be effective in preventing sunburn when I used it and would definitely purchase it in the future.
