    Poorly designed

    The software in this blanket is so poorly designed. If you turn it on via the app or have it turn itself on via the timer, you have to walk to the blanket to push a button on the blanket itself — otherwise it starts reducing its temperature level until it finally turns off. If I have to walk all the way back there to push a button on the blanket anyway, what’s the point of having Bluetooth access to turning it on and off? Ridiculous.

    Sheds terribly

    I've had it week and it constantly sheds fuzziest. I'm afraid to wash it for fear it will clog the drain.

    Great Product!

    Not very warm

    I purchased this item last week. I think my old standard sunbeam is warmer. This does not heat up. I purchased a queen and there is a big spot in the center that does not warm up at all. Very disappointed!! The blanket is soft but that’s it!!

    Nice and convenient, when it works correctly

    Almost every day, I come home hoping my blanket is warmed up and ready only to find the controller reading “E”… Controller unresponsive unless I I unplug from wall then re-plug it in. Very frustrating to say the least. I’ve already checked connection at blanket, everything is plugged it tightly. And no, blanket is NOT plugged into a power strip but directly into wall. So with this issue, using schedules are pointless…

    Extremely warm and comfortable

I use the low setting for a gentle, cozy feel and the really high setting when I get out of the shower with wet hair in a cold house. It can get really toasty!

    Forgot the basics?

    I don't think anyone would disagree that the primary role of a heated blanket is to heat the bed. This blanket (queen size) has a problem with it's primary roll. There is a section of the blanket right down its middle that doesn't heat. The problem is that there is 6 inch gap separating the heating wires between the two sides of the blanket. In other words, each side of the bed can be warm while an area between the two sides can stay frigid. This means that if I am comfortable in a nice, warm bed and happen to move slightly toward the middle, I am suddenly in a cold and uncomfortable area of the bed. How can a design flaw so obvious not be corrected before the product is released? Did anyone at Sunbeam bother to actually put the blanket on a bed and sleep under it? All it would take to correct this flaw is to space each heating element 1/4 of an inch farther apart which would easily fill the center gap. I'm now trying to decide whether or not to return the blanket for a refund. It's amazing to me that Sunbeam would spend so much time and money designing a wireless, programmable blanket controller plus an app to go with it but not design the blanket in such a way as to make the whole bed warm. The primary reason I bought this blanket is that it can be programmed to come on automatically and I love that capability. It is certainly soft against my skin. While the progammability and softness are nice, I can't recommend it because of it's design flaw. If you do buy this blanket, I have a word of caution. On a cold night, be careful when you roll over toward the center or you will suddenly be between cold sheets. If it weren't for this design flaw, I would gladly give the blanket 5 stars.

    Great Features and Warmth!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the LoftTec Connected Heated Blanket as a gift for my wife. She loves it! Stylish and comfortable gray “fluffy” design blanket with built in heater that works great. She’s been using it here during winter mornings and is so happy she has it. The heated element can be set from Low to High on what is essentially a scale of 1 - 10. We’ve found that mid-level 5 is more than enough for our usage. We’ve not used the remote connectivity much as it’s just as convenient to flip the power and heat setting on with the built in controller. I’ll be testing the app and connectivity further for her soon.

    2 iPhones can't be paired with a queen blanket!!

    My husband and I share this queen wifi blanket but only 1 iPhone is allowed to be paired to it at a time. I verified this by calling 1-800-892-7684 and speaking to a support person. It's unbelievable that a blanket that has two separate heating elements only allows 1 iPhone to work at a time. The big bulky remote is on my side of the bed so I get stuck using that and my husband gets to use his iPhone. Only buy this blanket if one person is going to use it.

    Love this

I am always the colder person so I need something that helps me to stay regulated against everyone else. The blanket is a nice gray color and very soft. It actually has an app to where you can control the different features. Who would have imagined something like that . I am able to easy make changes from my phone if it gets too cold or hot.     Great blanket

It evenly keeps the heat spread across the blanket. Unlike other heated blankets, you dont feel all the uncomfortable wires in it. Best part you can control the blanket by your phone.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Sunbeam Loftec Connected Heated Blanket and enjoy it very much on the bed. The blanket is very soft and comfortable and the digital controller works well to heat up the blanket. The blanket heats up very fast (10 heat settings) and is easy to increase or decrease the heat with a push of a button on the controller. Another feature that I like is you can install the Sunbeam app and control the blanket from anywhere with the app on your phone. If you like your bed nice and warm and toasty you can turn it on ahead of time with the app and it will be ready when you get home. The wires in the blanket are very thin and flexible you hardly know they are in the blanket.

    Just in time for winter

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heating blanket is full size and is so soft and plush to the touch. I have been wanting to get a heating blanket but never could find the right one. This is the right one a huge bonus is that it works with the app on my iPhone. I love technology and being able to operate this with my phone is great. The control for the heating blanket is closer to the floor when I use so its easy for me. It heats up quickly and evenly. I don't feel any hard wires so that makes it comfortable, the dark gray color is nice and I haven't had any shedding of the blanket. The cord is long and the control on the blanket is easy to read and operate.

    Winters Best Friend
