    Great Interactive Toddler Toy

This Leapfrog gaming toy is an absolute hit. I like that it is small enough to travel with yet makes a 3 year old feel like a “Big Kid” because it really works. Its very easy to learn how to use, too. It shows your kid the ABCs with some fun little music that goes with each button. It fits perfectly into tiny hands. There's a lot of games on there for endless fun and I find that it entertains the kid for a very long time. my granddaughter who absolutely loves this toy and has no idea that not only is she having fun but she is learning and building her skills all at the same time! I would buy again! Overall if you have a toddler or young child, I would totally pick this up because it's such a good toy to have around the house for when boredom hits. I would highly recommend it.

    Learning while having fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My First Gamer is perfect for keeping younger kids entertained during car rides or if you need a few minutes to get stuff done around the house. It teaches colors, shapes and numbers through games they can play so they're learning while having fun. And this gamer is tough. It has been through multiple drops with no cracks or issues. And it looks a lot like a real handheld console.

    Has a color screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My almost 3 year old absolutely loves this LeapFrog My First Gamer. We took it on a cross country roadtrip and it has kept her occupied. She played it so much we had to change the batteries after two weeks of having it. I love that it has a color screen and she can play multiple games while learning her shapes, colors, and numbers.

    Fun games for kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was interested to see if this would be fun for my newly 3 year old son. He is speech delayed but I wanted to give it a try. After a few tries he got the hang of it. He’s already great with his ABCs but this has some fun games on it for kids to enjoy. The sound is clear and the device has held up great considering my son is not gentle with it.

My son loves it and helps him learn all while playing his games

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler son is 3 years old and loves to learn. This My First Gamer by Leapfrog is lightweight, compact size and easy to hold and carry for even the smallest hands, I can toss it in a bag to carry on the go with us. The gaming not only colorful, fun, but also teaches the child about ABC’s, colors, numbers, logic, music and more. It has twenty different games so it’s something to keep the child entertained for a while. My son loves to play gumballs galore and racing on it. I like to play with it and he helps me to pick the letter behind the cute little guy. The controls are easy to use and if the child forget it lets them know again how to use it. I love how all the games are built into the system and no having to purchase extra ones. This has been perfect for roadtrips, heading to grandparents or local grocery stores - this helps the child stay entertained and learn all at the same time. I highly recommend this to parents for their young children.

    Fun and educational

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old daughter loved the My First Gamer. She was excited to have her own play system. The buttons and game play are easy to understand. It's a good size for her age. My First Gamer comes with 20 different games. Shapes, music, letter learning, colors, number learning, and her favorite, the logic games. Her favorites are the memory games and the gumball game. The letter games are fun and help with letter sounds. It's been a great way to practice preschool skills while on car trips or when her brother is playing his game. She loves to play like a big kid too!

    Very educational

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wss hesitant to get a "gaming" toy for my kid because at my household we aren't very "screen friendly". But since it was from LeapFrog I knew it was going to be educational so I gave it a try. It is very very educational, it teaches the letters, the numbers, the shapes, etc in a very fun and entertaining way. The quality of the screen is amazing, has a great resolution and doesn't feel cheap at all. It is a great quality toy. It is also very intuitive and easy to use, the first days my early 4 years old struggled a bit but then she got ahold of it very fast. It doesn't make get aggressive or frustrated like with a tablet or other gaming toys. It is a great way for she to learn the letters in English (her main language is Spanish), I wish it was a bilingual toy though, but well, she needs to reinforce her English so I am still happy. It is light and yet sturdy (my toddler knocked/throw it several times and it doesn't even have an indentation. We take it everywhere, trips, restaurants, etc. I really like this toy!

    Great engaging toddler toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome toy!!! It is very educational while engaging for toddler. It is not that heavy and very portable. It is also durable as my son has thrown the toy a few times and it still works haha. The only complain is that one of the twistys got stuck in the back of the toy and I can’t get it out.

    Like a first game boy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son LOVES this, but almost a little too much. I appreciate that the content is mostly educational, but it does feel a little too screen addicting. The games are all fairly intuitive and easy to get started. He also really loves the lizard character used throughout. Overall a great toy, but I do try to limit its use.
