[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this calphalon wok free from influenster and calphalon in exchange for an honest review. This is an absolutely fabulous wok! Its construction is sleek and very sturdy but not too heavy! So it is easy to use. I love that I can make different dishes and they cook perfectly. I'm not the best cook but it has been very easy to cook with. I use this wok often. The wok came ready to use out of the box no assembly, I just washed it and used it right away. This wok also has been so easy to clean even burnt on food has not been a problem cleaning up! I would recommend this wok to my friends and family.

Wrong tool for the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to like this product but as someone who regularly uses stainless steel for cooking, I could confidently say this is the wrong tool for the job. A wok is supposed to be used at high heat and high heat is also supposed to be used while pan frying and sautéing, something you’re not supposed to do is stainless steel. So when trying to use this walk to stirfry rice, noodles, etc it sticks everywhere. This could still be used to fry things with oil and boil pasta. If you use it like a sauce pan, which gives it some utility, but definitely not as a wok.

(I just wish it came with a lid). It's 13in and has five ultra durable layers including Stainless Steel. This is designed to prevent warping and denting. This wok is suitable for Electric, Gas, Induction, and Glass! It has Turbo Temp technology which truly heats up faster. All the other info you'll see in the images. This wok truly is amazing!! It really does heat up really quickly and evenly. Perfect for making stir fry! I'm so excited to get creative with this wok!! Definitely recommended!!

Favorite pan. So many different uses.

I have used it for everything from stir-fry to tikka masala and it works great for that and everything in between. I love that although it is sturdy and big, it is not prohibitively heavy like some other big pans I have used. It is easy to clean, and a little bartender's friend every once in a while will have it looking good as new. I know this wok will be a staple in my kitchen for many years.

Favorite Wok

The Wok heated up quickly, food didn't stick or burn. It was easy to clean it as well. Easy to use and I like it that you can use it in the oven as well. I only wish it came with a lid.
