Uses

The chance is higher if you: are age 60 or older,have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems,take a blood thinning (anticoagulant) or steroid drug,take other drugs containing prescription or nonprescription NSAIDs [aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others],have 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product,take more or for a longer time than directed.

Do not use: if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever/fever reducer,right before or after heart surgery.

Ask a doctor before use if: stomach bleeding warning applies to you,you have problems or serious side effects from taking pain relievers or fever reducers,you have a history of stomach problems, such as heartburn,you have high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, kidney disease, asthma, or had a stroke,you are taking a diuretic.

When using this product

When using this product: take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs.

Stop use and ask a doctor if: you experience any of the following signs of stomach bleeding: feel faint, vomit blood, have bloody or black stools, have stomach pain that does not get better,you have symptoms of heart problems or stroke: chest pain, trouble breathing, weakness in one part or side of body, slurred speech, leg swelling,pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days,fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days,redness or swelling is present in the painful area,any new symptoms appear.

Directions

Do not take more than directed. The smallest effective dose should be used. Read and keep carton for complete warnings and information.

Adults and Children 12 Years and Over

Take 1 capsule every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms persist. If pain or fever does not respond to 1 capsule, 2 capsules may be used. Do not exceed 6 capsules in 24 hours, unless directed by a doctor.

Children Under 12 Years

Ask a doctor.

Other information

Each capsule contains: potassium 20 mg. Read all warnings and directions before use. Keep carton. Store at 20-25 degrees C (68-77 degrees F). Avoid excessive heat above 40 degrees C (104 degrees F).

    June 2026 Smells like fish!

    I have been buying these for years and they are generally amazing. I picked up a bottle of 200 capsules with a four dollar coupon and the bottle reeks of old fish. I actually didn’t buy the Kirkland brand mini gels of ibuprofen because they also smelled of fish. I figured I would go with the name brand product. Turns out that was also a mistake. I have no idea what went wrong in their manufacturing process, but they really need to do a recall.

    Not the best

    It took an hour for two pills to work for cramps. I had to take a third pill which took a total of an hour and 20 minutes to have pain relief. The 3, yes 3, pills wore off within 6 hours or less! Very disappointed. I bought these because advil dual action pills weren’t available. Not worth it unless it’s for very minor pain.

    Less effective than Sam's Club store brand

    Purchased these last summer while having a migraine on a trip. These barely dulled the pain where as the M.M. from Sam's Club always knocks it out. I tried these again, yesterday as they were all I had in my purse. Again, barely dulled the pain. The price per ounce of these are also much higher. Wouldn't purchase again.

Usually the medicine bottles I have are so big that I have to talk them out and put my medicine in a pill holder. However, since this product is small it fits in my bag with no problem!
