Completely inaccurate temperature readings
This thermometer is so inaccurte it's scary. The digital reading literally jumps 2 degrees higher as soon as it beeps that it's ready. I've compared it to the Vick's thermometer, a forehead thermometer, and the Boncare thermometer, and it is consistently two full degrees higher than reality. Not useful whatsoever.

Inaccurate
I took my temperature. The display said 100.9. That didn't sound right, to I took it again with my husband's thermometer. 99.3. I took it with an old mercury thermometer. 99.3. I took it with the Fever Flash. 100.5. It's not useful for me if it isn't accurate or consistent.

Flex Tip is not Effective
The flex tip shifts and makes it impossible to get consistent readings making most attempts fruitless low readings. One out of ten times a user will get it placed just right and it wont shift and will get the accurate reading, but if you use this just one time and accept the results you could easily have a 104 degree fever but be told by this thing that it's only 101 despite following the instructions to a tee. It gets worse. You might end up finding a good placement and technique, but the flex tip starts to get floppy and any normal pressure you apply causes the sensor to curl back out of the heat pocket, producing consistently low readings again. It gets worse yet, once you end up with yet another low reading you have to listen to it beep 9 times before you can turn it off/on and try again. It becomes very tedious when trying to track a high grade fever. It's built well, but it's like a car with square wheels.

Horribly inaccurate. I took my temperature four times in four minutes and got wildly different results, repeatedly over a couple days. When I knew I had a very high fever, I needed to know the temperature so I could decide if I needed to go to Urgent Care or straight to the ER. I needed an accurate temperature and this thing is a COMPLETE FAILURE.
