Works well
This thermometer works well for us. It seems to be very accurate and helped us whenever the kiddos had a fever. It was easy to use and easy to read. I would recommend this thermometer to all parents and anyone else for that matter.

Wildly inaccurate
We used this exactly as advertised and it's not only inconsistent it's simply inaccurate. Used with other thermometers, oral and other contactless, this one is way off at all times! Taking it back as soon and my daughter (who has a fever) is feeling a bit better. So frustrating. Just remove this from the shelves. C'mon now!

Make sure youre using it correctly, keep it level and aim at forehead above middle of eyebrow
I only used this on the forehead, and followed the recommendation of another reviewer. They said aim it at the forehead just above the middle of the eyebrow. It worked perfect and matched armpit reading from another thermometer that’s my trusted go to. You also have to make sure you keep it level, perpendicular to the forehead, or you’ll measure the temp of the air or other area of the head. Good for nighttime with my kid, my one complaint is the button makes a loud click and woke my child a few times.

Doesnt work
Doesn’t work. It keeps saying it has a low battery after many times of changing the battery. And the temp varies over 5 degrees each time. Don’t buy it!

TERRIBLE PRODUCT
We've been using when we thought our little one was running a fever but rarely did it read above 100, through forehead and ear checks. Immediately after reading 98.7, he was feeling pretty warm, we went to the doctor that said he had over 102 temp. The day before he felt warmer even, and we took comfort in the thermometer reading under 100, again through forehead and ear. He must've had over 104 and we chalked his warm mess up to sun intake (despite having minimal exposure). Target - please remove this product from your shelves. Dangerous and unethical to offer a health related item that does not work in the slightest.

Accurate when used on temple.
It works great. I took my temp with an oral thermometer 98.2. Then I used this on my right temple above the middle of eyebrow 98.1 and then on my forehead 97.8. Use on the temples it’s more accurate.

Like this a lot. Has color coded signals to show indicate how high the fever is. I did have to take multiple readings because it does fluctuate, but I think all thermometers do that. Can turn sound off. I used this during the night so it was a nice feature

Inaccurate, totally worthless to determine temp.
Incredibly inaccurate, apparently I am somewhere between 97 and 102 and my infant is somewhere between 98 and 105.6 for temps taken in quick succession.

Nice thermometer
This thermometer is great. It's so much quicker to take a little one's temperature when they aren't feeling well with one of these, as opposed to the ones that take forever to read. This thermometer reads quick and accurately.

Works great
This Up & Up Temple Non-Contact IR Thermometer works great. I was in need of a replacement thermometer so when I saw this one it was a no brainer. This allows me to take temperatures without having to wake my family member up and it also allows me to take my child's temperature when they're not in the best of moods. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

Not accurate
Easy to use but inaccurate. My son has the flu. Been running 100-104.0 rectally. Checked him with the infrared thermometer and it showed 99.0. Checked him immediately after with the rectal thermostat and he was103.4!
