Q: Is it normal for my baby to show 100-104 on her belly/armpit then show normal healthy temp on her forehead/ears, pretty much normal everywhere else I measure?

A: Kimberly our infrared thermometer is calibrated to measure your little one's temp on their forehead only. The thermometer should be placed about 1/2" away from the skin in the middle of the forehead.

A: Yes, but we recommend not measuring the temp as the water is coming out of the faucet. Measure the temp of the water that is in the tub.

Gives inaccurate readings. My baby had a 102 fever and it was telling me he had a 98.0. It gave different temps depending where you put it. Get a bum bum thermometer for your baby please.

terrible product
doesn't provide correct temp or even close to the correct temp. mine is saying everyone has a 98 temp... which my baby actually had a 101.5 temp when checked because of how hot he felt. I originally got this a few months ago. thought it worked when I originally used it. now that the next fever was a few months out and it's not working I can't even attempt to return it ... so a waste of $40 completely!

Disappointing, Frida.
I normally LOVE all things Frida. This thermometer doesn’t provide accurate readings, and I am left guessing if the temp is accurate. I don’t need this stress on top of already having a sick child, plus it feels irresponsible for me to keep this for my children. I will be retuning this product.

Useless
Completely useless thermometer. Accuracy is horrific and shouldn’t even be sold candidly. Do not buy this, I wouldn’t trust it to know if my kids temps are too high.

I never leave a review.. but this thermometer is so useless and misleading that it’s important for everyone to know. It’s highly inaccurate and waste of money and time which could be life threatening for small babies.

Inaccurate Readings
Initially liked using this product to know when my toddler spiked a fever however I recently noticed it does not give accurate readings. I tried 5 different areas on my toddlers forehead and all have a different number from 98 to 104. Very unsettling especially with high fevers! Not sure I would recommend.

Inaccurate and dangerous
This is the most inconsistent thermometer. I used it on my 2 year old and it showed 99.0°. Then I used a rectal one on her which showed 103.3°!

Very inaccurate
Very inaccurate, I get a range of 104.6-100.1 on the same side taken consecutively. Ear always reads normal or below normal even with an actual fever. Waste of money
