Frida Baby 3-in-1 True Temperature Digital Thermometer

Terrible, gives wrong temperature reading. I used it on my baby to give it a try, gave a wrong reading causing concern before I double checked with another thermometer

My baby had her 4 month shots and I wanted to check for fever, it read as low grade fever so I gave her Tylenol. The next morning it read 95.3 which is way too low. I bundled her more the next night at the advice of her ped since her temp came back up, but the next morning it was lower at 94.8 despite her feeling warm and a head temp read 98. Got another thermometer and she’s been normal ever since. Might’ve gave my baby Tylenol for no reason and spent money calling her ped after hours. The fact that this is on the market after reading all these reviews is seriously disappointing from a major baby brand.

Thank you Frida for always keeping your promises and keeping customers happy and satisfied. I absolutely love the versatility of this thermometer and will continue to use on my children.

The first time I used this thermometer the metal tip on the end broke off while wiping it with a wet wipe after use…

Do not buy. Wildly inaccurate. Frida, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Stopped working after one time!!! My baby felt hot in the middle of the night and the screen was stuck.

I am a postpartum nurse. This thermometer is known to be very unreliable and inaccurate. I've had multiple families bring their babies in for evaluation after this thermometer was 10 degrees off!

I would rate this 0 stars if i could!! We took our 7 week old to the ER because this thermometer was saying fever, but baby never once had a fever at the ER. Not great for new parent’s anxiety!

Wish I could rate this lower. Our 2 month looked flushed, so we checked her temperature multiple times with the Fridababy thermometer. All 3 times it read her temp at 97.8. Testing it on myself, the temp read at 95.5, which was clearly wrong. Grabbing an old school thermometer, both my wife and I's temp read at 98.4-.6. Our daughter was over 100. How with this many poor ratings and obvious flaws can they consider their product for babies is beyond me.

Temperatures weren’t consistent. Started glitching after a year. Better thermometers on the market.

Wildly inaccurate. My husband clearly had a fever and I used this to test it and it said he was at 92.3 several times. It was brand new and I threw it out because I can’t risk that with a baby.

This thermometer is wildly inaccurate and inconsistent. I’m usually a Frida brand fan but this one is not where it’s at.

This thermometer is completely inaccurate. It read that my 3 week old had a temp of 91.6 rectally and 93 axillary which is VERY low. My baby was crying, well perfused and felt warm (which is why I took her temp). I had a whole breakdown fearful that my baby was sick. I’m a pediatric nurse so I knew that temp with how she was presenting didn’t match up and thankfully had several other thermometers in my house and was able to check her temp with them and they all were normal. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Similar as the other reviews. It was reading higher than their actual temperature. We took our month and a half old baby to the ER. And when they checked their temp was well below the safe zone. DO NOT BUY! It’ll cost you more than the 10-20 bucks. Stress, hospital bills, etc.

Second thermometer from this company and neither work

This thermometer was accurate when compared to the thermometer at urgent care. It's easy to use. I was really nervous about taking my baby's temperature rectally, but the instructions are very clear, and the thermometer is designed such that you really can't mess it up. I would recommend this product to any parent.

If I could give less than a star I would! This thermometer gives a reading a degree over what my baby actually was. We were extremely worried thinking we would need to make an ER trip because he is only 8 weeks. It caused us a lot of unnecessary stress and would have been very frustrating if we had gone to the ER to be told his temperature is fine.

Spent two nights in an childrens emergency hospital due to this thermometer. Temp read that the baby had a fever of 100.6 wen we got to the hospital it read that he was 98.6. they still had to admit us to make sure he was fine. Just reused to make sure thermometer is ok, it read the baby had a fever of 100.4 retook on a generic thermometer his temperature is 98.8.

Great product, always accurate and fast reading of temp

My 10-week old baby unfortunately caught Covid from me and my husband after a friend's wedding, so we checked her temp with this thermometer to ensure she was okay... it consistently showed her peaking around 100.7° at some point in the day for two weeks straight. Talk about stressful. Our baby seemed fine as far as her demeanor goes, so our doctor finally told us to buy a different kind and compare - come to find out, this stupid Frida one runs too high!!! Word to the wise: don't put this item on your registry. And if you do have it already and it keeps showing a temp for your child, get another brand to compare it to. So ridiculous, and glad our doctor told us to compare, because our baby was about to get bloodwork and a whole host of invasive tests done to figure out why she "keeps having a temperature." I'm so mad!!! Moms have enough to worry about! I cried multiple days while worried about my baby, apparently for no reason... I'm kicking myself for not reading these other reviews sooner, too!!!
