Took my temperature once when I took it out of the box and it immediately died. On the back of the box it says it has a lifelong battery. Obviously not.

Picked up this thermometer today. Pulled the battery tab and took my temperature. The battery has one bar worth of charge. So much for the “Includes 1 2032” replaceable long-life battery” statement on the back of the box. Am not able to unscrew the back to replace the battery—which I should not have to do. This item is going back to the store. And that’s the last thing a person wants to do when they are sick—another trip to the store. And if there is a phone number for Safety 1st on the box, good luck finding it. It’s not on the back of the thermometer.

Not very accurate. My baby just got home from the NICU so we had to take his temp often to make sure he’s regulating his body temp correctly. This one is consistently giving false low readings, which has added unnecessary stress to our lives. I don’t recommend.

This showed our four day old newborns rectal temp as 94.5. This lead to a panicked ER trip, a blood draw for a four day our little one, and about five years off our lives via stress. Had this thermometer simply done it's job, this would have all been avoided. Spend extra money and get something that isn't complete junk. This brand should be ashamed. DO NOT BUY

This thermometer did not provide an accurate reading. I bought 2 thermometers, this one and the frida baby 3 in 1. The frida was accurate compared to the thermometer at urgent care, and this one was too low by a whole degree. It's so important to have an accurate thermometer, especially in the first 3 months of your baby's life. I would not recommend this one.

Thermometer was inaccurate and a waste of time & money. Readings were off by nearly a full degree, causing us to unnecessarily bring our infant to the dr's office.

I’ve owned this thermometer for years to use with my older kids, and recently bought a new one for my newborn (because sometimes new babies need their temps taken in “other places”). I love the chart on the back listing which temperature is considered a fever depending on where the thermometer was used (orally, underarm, or rectally). It’s always been accurate and gives the result very quickly

I used the safety first thermometer on my three kids- 5, 2, and 6mo. They were all patient with the read time, although this is slightly longer than some of the others on the market. The screen was easy to read!

I have used it in my child's under arm this thermometer gives results fast as to not make my child uncomfortable and I get results before my child gets to squirmy. I also like the fact that you can use this thermometer three different ways the choice is yours.

I love this thermometer. It's super easy to use and read. It gives a quick accurate reading every single time. I never have to worry if my kids will fight me cause it just goes so fast. Getting my middle child to let me check his temp is hard work with him being autistic but he loves this thermometer. It lights up, it beeps and it's quick all of his favorite things. I use this on my baby as well and it inserts smoothly and he has no issue with it whatsoever. I really love how easy it is to clean and that it's good for my whole family. I would definitely buy this again

I have used many thermometers in my time working in daycare centers, schools and as a parent. I have used it about 3 times and i feel that I am always getting a correct reading. I love the big display and the aqua color is cute! You can't beat a 6 second reading on an infant! Put the plastic cover on and through it in the diaper bag. Very happy with this product.

I purchased this 2 days ago. After first use, the battery indicated it was low. Today I purchased brand new batteries and even after replacement it still shows the low battery symbol. How terrible for a product to be unreliable. The picture attached is from after the brand new battery was installed.

I love the design of this product. It's easy to read, and a pretty color. However, I'm not sure if I received a faulty one, but it beeps within 5 seconds of putting it under my child's arm, and doesn't give an accurate reading. My children were sick most of this week and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to put this to use. Another thermometer was showing 102.5, while this one beeped almost immediately and showed 99.7. I took it out, turned it off and back on and then it went up a little more, but beeped again very quickly. I never did get an accurate reading.

I am a first time parent and had trouble finding the perfect thermometer. Once I found the Safety 1st 3 in 1 thermometer, I fell in love. I love the versatility of the thermometer. As my baby grows, I don't have to worry about buying different thermometers. The readings are accurate and the thermometer is very easy to clean. The color is attractive, and it reaches the temperature reading quickly. I couldn't have asked for a better thermometer.

The Safety 1St thermometer is a great product, giving a fast and accurate reading on babies, toddlers, children and even adults. It beeps within a few seconds so if you have a squirmy toddler like me, you won't have to worry. The tip is flexible for under the arm readings as well. I like that the reading area is large for at night or when I just don't have my glasses on, I'm not left squinting at it. Overall I will continue to use this as it's a great all around product for the family.
