I was doubted about the accuracy before getting it, but after using it 2,3 times I came to know it gives an accurate and consistent temperature reading whether you use touch or non touch method. Its sturdy, and made with high quality material. Its very easy to use and no more trouble of taking oral or armpit temperature of kids. Even if my kiddo is sleeping I can monitor without even disturbing them. It takes temperature within seconds, and light glow up when its done so reading temperature is easy even if its dark in the room. Its a must have gadget at home when you have kids with you. Very happy to try it and definitely recommend.

This no touch thermometer is great for night time temp readings for sick kiddos -- you only need to get close to the forehead to get an accurate reading. The convenient light shows where you're aiming which is supposed to be directly above and in between the eyebrows. The only downside is if your child is sweaty you are supposed to wipe them dry which defeats the purpose of no-touch but it's still way more convenient than having to take a mouth or ear reading. This also appears to be extremely accurate. I took my own reading multiple times at different points throughout the day and it was spot on. You can also touch directly to the forehead if it's preferable. This will be replacing a Braun ear reader that I had to purchase disposable tips for so I'm so extremely excited for this!

You simply point the light at the forehead and click a button! The reading is fast and seems to be fairly accurate. I like that it will let you know if you need to move closer to the forehead before giving a reading as well. The light is bright and easy to read. There is a beep that goes off when taking the reading, but it can be muted which is great if you need to check a child’s temperature while they are sleeping!
