We bought it to measure our baby's temperature. Each read is completely different, goes from 36.9 to 38 , if you read it 4 times it.will give a different value each time. We always have to end up using the rectal one.

If I could give 0 stars I would. So disappointing and frustrating to get a thermometer that is completely inaccurate. I can take it three times-one on each temple and the forehead and will get wildly different temp readings from 101.0 to 98.8 I don’t know what the problem is but this needs to be removed from the market.

We have never been able to get an accurate reading to the point that I think we received a faulty product. My mother in law got this for us for our first baby and I did not save the packaging or I would've returned it.

Looks like most of the good reviews on here are from a promotion and the low ones are people really submitting and saying its inaccurate and error-prone. WHATS THE POINT ..If you can't get an accurate reading?When one second it's a normal temp and the next a raging fever, and you have to verify with another method, ITS USELESS. All while you are actually concerned about your child..? I find it offensive that its sold to parents as a measure of caring for the health and saftey when its not reliable. Sincerely, A parent w a sick child, needing this device to work. I wish i could get money back.

Awful and inaccurate. I’ve now taken my baby’s temp. 5 times, and got wildly different results each time. 101.9 twice, 99.7, 98.6 and 98.8. Complete garbage.

This thermometer works. I suggest getting it within a half an inch of the forehead right between the eyebrows to get the best reading. Design wise, it feels good in the hand, but it is rolly in the cabinet. I wish it could stand and had grips.

After 10 tries getting my little ones temperature I get an error message and by now she is crying and won’t lay still for me anymore. This is the process every time I try to use the thermometer. You can definitely find easier thermometers than this one. Don’t waste your money.

This thermometer is absolutely terrible. I’m sad I wasted the money. It takes forever to get a reading, if it even gives you one. I compared it to another forehead thermometer I had and it was 2 degrees higher…. Taken from the same kid, at the same time.

I don’t trust the readings ever and feel the need to verify with an underarm thermometer. But…why should I have to do that? Moving a few millimeters on the forehead can give a several degree difference in reading. Wish I could return it.

Temperature is highly inaccurate. It's inconsistent so sometimes it reads hotter and others cooler. You are better off using one of the cheap thermometers under the arm over this one.

Did not give accurate readings. Said our child’s temperature was 98.6 when an ear and then oral thermometer showed it was over 101.5 We had to take our child to the ER and would have never known if we trusted this thermometer.
