Go on the go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me just start by saying, this smells like baby food. I don’t normally like things like this but I gave it a try and it was not terrible. It’s got a bit of a tangy taste to it but it’s not overwhelming. The texture is smooth, not too thick, not too thin. It’s easy to eat right out of the pouch. It’s a great on the go snack, a great quick breakfast. There’s no added sugar which is great. It’s only 90 calories and has 8 grams of fiber. It almost like an applesauce texture but just a little smoother.

You can drink it straight from the pouch or pour it into something and use a straw. The product isn't overly sweet, and the texture is like puree fruit or apple sauce. Quick and Easy Healthy Snack

It definitely has a baby food/puree texture, and while I was expecting this to an extent, it was more than expected. I’ve had similar textures before that I can handle and I was eager to try this product. They taste fresh and not artificial, which I loved, but because I got the one with banana, I think the texture is too much for me to ignore. These provide almost 1/3 of your daily fiber, which is great! Love the convenience of the grab and go pouch, and the puree comes out easily. It’s also resealable, so that’s nice!

However, I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious this actually was! The texture is like normal apple sauce but the flavor is so good! It’s a great low calorie snack and I love that it has no added sugars! It’s also made with organic fruits! The price is reasonable considering the quality of the food this contains.

When I tasted it, I agreed, it was very sweet. Is there any way to lessen the sugar? I've been letting my kids try an alternate lifestyle where they don't have to depend on too much sugar. Being a diabetic parent, I want to make sure my kids eat healthy. This product packs a lot of nutrients, but even my kids think it's too sweet. This product has a lot of potential to become a healthy alternative to a lot of junk drinks out there.
