Topper is comfortable but has a awful odor

The order process was super easy with quick delivery. I noticed right away that I'm not nearly as hot as I used to be with our standard memory foam mattress. It's thick enough to keep the pressure points comfortable. We liked our topper so much we bought a 2nd one within weeks. Definitely recommend if you don't want to, or can't, splurge on a full mattress.

Still getting used to my King 4" Cooling Copper Topper but in a positive way. I've always used quality 3" charcoal infused cooling eggshell toppers, but after 5 years, my fav topper was no longer fully supporting my shoulders, arms, & neck, and causing me pain. (Side sleeper). I've been looking for a replacement as no one seems to be making quality cooling eggcrates more. I tried a Sealy 3" cooling gel foam with padded cover last year, and it split down the middle after 6 months and the fiberfill cover kept bunching up. After much research, am trying ViscoSoft's. I am much impressed with the quality of materials and workmanship. Quick shipping, too! I have noticed a significant decrease in my shoulder and arm pain, although I feel like my lower back, hips, and legs are stiffer upon rising. I also found that while the topper is definately cool, I do warm up considerably as I sleep. Great in the winter, but wondering about Texas summers. I added an 8 pelt sewn sheepskin on top of the ViscoSoft topper which seems to help keep me cooler, (seems counter intuitive but it works), which I used with my old eggcrate topper. I've also purchased linen sheets instead of sleeping on 100% cotton, but have not used them yet. I've also noticed it is harder for me to roll over to switch sides, as I do become "entrenched", feel like I stick to the mattess, and feels like I have to make an effort to roll up out of the dip, which is aggravating when I've half asleep. I have never experienced this with eggcrate toppers. Rather than use the straps, I wrap the whole thing in 2 layers of fitted sheets. Then I tuck the topsheet along the bottom. Pretty much using this like a mattress, as the mattress underneath is a hybrid with springs, but is still too hard for me. This keeps the topper from slipping, though it does slip to the side 1-2" every now and then. All in all, it's a good quality topper for the price, and is serving the purpose I purchased it for: Arm, shoulder, & neck pain relief. I'm not thrilled about the heat retention or that it's harder for me to roll over, hence the 4 Stars. Wish ViscoSoft would consider making an Eggcrate topper, copper or charcoal infused . . . .

Well I read the reviews and went for it. This mattress topper was one of the most expensive, and that means the best right?? Well not really. The topper has done nothing to improve my sleep. It’s not comfortable at all. Weighing in at about 40 pounds there is no way I’ll be trying to fold it back into a little box and take advantage of the return policy. Lesson learned. I continue to toss and turn.

Feels like I’m tilting backwards

Very comfortable! My wife was getting back pains from the previous topper and not at all with this topper. . We love “made in America” products and the warranty is outstanding.

The cover on the topper is very slick so the fitted sheet slides and you wake up in a ball of sheets, making it too uncomfortable to use. Noticed other reviewers that had the same issue so reached out to the company about it. They were not willing to send a different topper cover or offer any solution to address the issue. Not worth the money for a topper with a known issue and a company that won’t work with their customers.

Too soft it didn’t offer enough support

This is hands down the best sleep me and my wife has ever had with this Topper. Absolutely love :heart:️ it.

I was disappointed to find that this topper was hotter than my own mattress. It was very comfortable, but hot. The customer service was a little slow but very helpful. I also changed my sheets to 100% cotton by Quince and that helped!

The Active Cooling Copper Topper in my opinion does nothing to help cool the bed. I use cotton sheets and was far cooler on my old style cooling mattress cover. The topper has maintained a ridge in the middle where it was folded for shipping but that does not appear to impact the comfort of the topper. I believe this topper to be a nice pillow top addition to the bed that is not truly of any value and definitely not worth the expense.

Pretty great. Did extensive market research before purchasing. Happy with it. Very cool to the touch. No sinking/quick sand feeling (compared to other mattress toppers).

I have not noticed any difference cooling. On the mattress topper. I still wake up hot three or four times in the middle of the night

3 nights in, and so far so good. My sleep quality is much improved over the rock-hard mattress that I have. The memory foam does take some getting used to I'm finding.

I didn’t want to invest close to $1K for a new mattress, so I searched & found ViscoSoft. Great product. Made well with a 5 year warranty to back it up. If you are a hot sleeper, this will definitely help!

I was ready to ditch my not-so-old mattress when I started waking up with hip and back pain (I'm a side sleeper). So I thought I'd give this mattress topper a try before committing to the hassle and expense of a new mattress set. And I'm so glad I did! I haven't slept this well in years and now I jump out of bed without any joint pain. This topper really is fantastic.
