Hunter Fans Key Biscayne 1 - Light in Weathered Zinc

Beautiful, silent, and functional. Can't ask for more.

We purchased 2 of these fans in 2020 and installed them outside under our covered patio. Both fans now have blades that have a green tinge to them. They are no longer the light weathered wood color they were when we first purchased them. Beware if using outside this can happen over time.

Bought three of these to replace old patio fans. Hunter’s website specifications has 5291 cfm. Imagine my surprise when the packaging states it’s only 3500 cfm. That’s quite the difference.

Have had this fan in our dining room for a couple of weeks. I love it! The only thing is that the light at full brightness is very dim. Of course those bulbs(2) can be changed out for brighter ones.

We had the fan installed for 3 years with occasional use, and the motor completely died. It stopped working completely. Prior to this it was a good fan, but 3 years of occasional use before dying is not the life span you want!

I bought this fan and it worked for about 2 months and then the light began to flicker and blades would not turn. It's been a useless fixture since.

I bought 3 of these and installed them on my 22' ceiling... They ran great for a few weeks... Then one of the fans stopped spinning (on the same circuit as another one) and began making buzzing noises and moving gently back and forth. By manually moving the fan, it began spinning again. Very shortly thereafter, it happened again. Hunter replaced the fan. Then the 2nd one started doing the same thing intermittently. The third one won't reach high speed at all. The replacement fan is noisy and makes humming noises. Thinking the issues were statistically improbable to happen to all the different fans; I have had the switches and wiring checked and tested by an electrician- they're all fine. The lights (although not very bright due to the frosted glass) work fine on all 3. VERY disappointed in the quality. Need to replace all 3 now (because they all have to look the same) after spending a small fortune on these.... VERY VERY disappointed.

The fan is exactly as advertised. The installation was relatively easy and the fan runs smoother than the previous one that I had.

Fan was the perfect addition for our patio. It looks great!

Bought this last week, looks beautiful, lucky thing too because this fan wont even move the flame on a cigarette lighter if you hold it 4 inches below the blades, have it under and outdoor gazebo. At least the light works as advertised... and yes, the blades are spinning the proper direction. Changed from harbor breeze that finally died, wont make that mistake twice

This fan is completely beautiful. However, the fan itself is not machined well causing you to have to make constant adjustments so that the fan doesn’t make noise while it’s running. Plus, and maybe I just got a dud, the motor went out within the first 3 years of use. So, long story short, beautiful fan ... poorly fabricated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just installed this fan a couple of weeks ago on our back patio. It almost looks to nice to be outside. It was easy to install and keep me and my family cool . I love the light fixture feature too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install, good directions, runs quietly. One negative is that in order to change bulbs or change fan direction you need a screwdriver to remove the globe. Seems better built than other fans I have installed.

I love that it’s so versatile and can match any type of decor. This will be going on my lanai where I can thoroughly enjoy it. The blades are sturdy and overall well put together. Everything puts together tightly to avoid shaking once on. Really impressed with this! I’m quite a novice at electrical anything, but installation took me about 20 minutes start to finish!

This fan came with excellent and easy instructions for installation which if you follow it well you will be able to install without any problems. It makes a wonderful outdoor fan with a light attached and reversible blades to choose the finish you prefer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is very quiet and installed easily in our screened in back porch. It gives great tones of light at night and plenty of air flow in our smaller porch area. We use a light switch to control the fan speed and light, but for our outdoor patio with a high ceiling you will have to get on a ladder to reach the reverse switch and reach the pull chains if you did not have a switch linked to it.

It was so easy to install and changes the whole atmosphere with it's beauty. The fan works really well and will definitely keep you cooled down when relaxing outside and keep the air circulated. It is also very quiet and doesn't interfere with those lovely outdoor relaxing times. I love that it was such and an easy 1 person install the most though!
