Fan is very attractive and provides good light and airflow - nice upgrade from the fan provided by the builder.

I like it all it looks great it actually makes the room look bigger and it was easy to install

The fan looks great but has an electrical current sound which it makes every few minutes. Other than that it’s very quiet.

This is a sophisticated, highly functional fan. We use it in our master bedroom. The look is understated and blends in well. The remote is easy to operate. The breeze is easy to control and adds easy cooling to the room. A great value.

4th ceiling fan we have bought through Lamps Plus. Always been great! This one went into the kids game room. Really improved the look of the room! Thanks for the good service / delivery as always.

Speedy delivery and great quality

Installed recently and noticed that one of the three blades has two dings or indentations near the two outer blade holding screws. Both are nearly identical in size and shape. I installed the fan anyway knowing that I needed to use it as soon as possible and thinking that once installed it would be ok, but the dings are clearly visible. I'll likely have to remove the fan and return to the store for a refund - not too happy about that action. I might try to reach out to Hunter to see if they can send me new blades as that would be the easiest way to resolve the issue, but have not heard good things about their customer service. I have the 60" Sentinel in brushed slate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Hunter fan is so gorgeous and modern! I love the clean lines, muted colors of the fan blades, and brushed nickel finish. Once installed, it is easy to control with the included remote and a bracket is provided to mount it right over the switch plate. Installation was straightforward albeit a bit challenging. The instructions are very simple and easy to follow; they go step by step very clearly. My husband and I did the entire thing start to finish in about 3 hours. There are just certain points in the installation process that required lots of careful wrangling – I don’t know that I could have done it alone! The wiring takes longer because you must wire in the remote receiver between the motor and the ceiling wires. Getting the light kit attached is delicate operation as well. I do have a few gripes with the fan, one is that it doesn’t seem to put out quite as much air as I was expecting. I used the low profile downrod, and I do wonder if it would work better with the regular downrod (both included in the box). However, neither one of us are willing to go through the process of uninstalling and reinstalling with the longer one to test that theory. The other is the capability of the remote - it lacks dimming functionality for the lights, and you are not able to reverse - that must be done manually. Overall, it’s still a great fan and I love how it looks! I just wish it put out a little more wind.

It took a little longer to install because it has "extra" wiring due to the remote control. I really love that it is remote controlled, I can control it without ever having to get up! It's perfect for my living room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually love my new fan. Sentinel always has beautiful designs and this one was just the right size and color to match my bedroom. It looks simple and its sleek design gives it a nice look. I had my husband install it for me and he didn't stop complaining about how difficult it was to build it as he was used to others come already built. Also he complaint about how hard it was to get to the screws in order to secure the light dome. Besides all that, once installed on the ceiling, this fans looked nice. It works good and it is reasonably quiet. It was easy to wire and to set up the remote control.

THE REVERSABLE FAN ALSO WORKS VERY WELL TO CIRCULATE THE AIR IN BOTH DIRECTIONS.THE LED LIGHTS HAVE A GREAT AMOUNT OF LIGHTING TO.. LOOKS GREAT AND WORKS VERY WELL ON ALL SPEEDS. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this fan as an upgrade to an existing one that was too small for our bedroom and we wanted more air flow. This fan really fit the bill with the larger fan blade size and quiet operation. The three blade design and modern styling give our bedroom a more contemporary look while the remote control minimizes the need to get up and reach for chains to control functionality. Installation was easy and straight-forward and I appreciated the fact that, at least in my case, there was no need to balance the fan blades. My only concern is the location of the reverse switch. It's on the light assembly next to the bulbs under the glass dome so removal of the dome is necessary should you want to change fan direction. Overall, a great ceiling fan and a product I've come to expect from Hunter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not sure what I love more about this fan- the design, the power, or the remote feature. At 60 inches, it is ideal for a large living room or bedroom and has enough force on the highest setting to cool the entire span of the room. The remote has three power settings and a light control as well for the LED light kit. It comes with a 4 inch and a 2 inch downrod so if you have extra tall ceilings you will need to purchase a longer rod. My only true complaint is the color of the remote is a hideous beige that doesn’t match the color scheme of the fan.

The fan has three speeds, which are each a perfect speed. The fan is very quiet and moves the air beautifully. The installation was easy to do and didn’t take long at all. The fan has no wobble which is very nice. It turns very accurately. I LOVE IT!!! The light is bright, but too bright.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We immediately installed the fan after it arrived and we were surprised at the difficulty of install. First becareful and motor was loose and caught our finger. then we had to install the wires to the remote to the ceiling and separately the fan to the top piece so two sets of wires rondeal with. The fan blades we’re also tough to put on but one we got rolling we were disappointed at the power. You have to run it full blast to get any kind of air. It looks great and works but not the fan for you if you need it to cool down the area, it more to keep air flowing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my house about a year ago, and all the fans were aged and dated, so imagine my excitement upon getting this beautiful Sentinel fan for the master bedroom! First off, it's huge. My house is A) in Texas, and B) a bit of a hotbox, and all the heat rises to the upstairs and back in the master bedroom. A fan is absolutely critical to keeping cool at night. The 60 inch wingspan of the fan is PERFECT for my bedroom which is about 14x17 feet. It moves the air around incredibly well and keeps us feeling cool all night long. For this reason alone, it is totally worth the troubles I had. Speaking of troubles...I had one minor issue, and one major issue. The minor issue was that it was a bit of a pain to assemble and install. The remote receiver doesn't fit amazingly well inside the canopy with all the wires that are required. I did eventually get everything to fit, but it was a struggle. The major issue I had was with the globe. It does NOT secure very well to the fan. It's kind of a precarious hook and loop type of attachment that fails with minor movement of the fan. Within a few seconds of having it on, my globe had come loose from the housing, fell, and shattered on the floor. Replacement globes are about $40 after tax and shipping. Not the cheapest replacement for a poorly designed system. All in all, it is a nice fan, and I am very happy to have it!

My husband installed this and didn’t have any problems or issues. We put this up in our den and it really makes the room stand out. I like the fact that the blades are reversible. The light is very bright and is perfect where extra light is needed. The only issue is when it’s on the high setting, it wobbles slightly and my husband said he’d look into it soon but that’s no biggie to me. It’s also very quiet and can hardly even hear it on. I’m satisfied with this ceiling fan and would definitely recommend.
