I've had this fan for about 6 months and I'm ready to replace it. Fan is great, but the light is horrible!!! If you can to be able to see, then this probably isn't the fan for you.

I love having the remote, though I’m giving 4 stars because installation was a headache; fitting the receiver into the canopy was a very tight squeeze. The remote and the receivers did not work hired professional electrician to put up the lights just to have them not work. Very frustrating. In addition, your website is not clear The remote control does not come with a way to secure it to the wall

My partner and I got the old fan out and new one in about 1 hour! Instructions were great, but the screws should probably have been labeled individually. And wow! this is the quietest fan I have used! it’s elegant, sleek, and the remote makes such a difference in usability.

Perfect size, super easy to install and unbelievably quiet operation

I replaced my old Hunter Dempsey fan i installed in 2008. From an install perspective, the instructions are clearly laid out but you will not know if the fan/light are functional until you complete the entire install process. In my case, the remote receiver was bad and the fan would not turn on. This meant you had to completely disassemble the fan and troubleshoot what’s going on. I had a 2nd receiver i used from a 2nd fan i’d bought for another room that i used to correct the issue. Please note that screwing the fan blades on can be tedious and frustrating as the blades must be perfectly aligned to the screw holes in the housing. Once installed it does work well, however there is an annoying lag time when using the remote to operate the fan/light. It can take several presses before the fan registers the commands. And unlike my old 2008 Dempsey remote, this fan’s remote does NOT allow you to reverse the fan direction. You must remove the light cover and flip a manual switch inside the light to reverse the fan.

The only concern which earned it 4 Stars vs 5 was the inconsistency in how the remote works. I have replaced the battery that came with a new fresh version with no noticeable difference. Is their a special way to position the transponder ?

I have 5 hunter ceiling fans and this fan is the only one that hums very loudly. To make matters worse it is installed in my master bedroom and it keeps me up at night.

Yes the second fan I received works satisfactory, but the hours I've spent going up and down a ladder first to install then second to attempt to diagnose and repair and the third to remove and replace the defective unit. Your quality is not what I expected or paid for. The fact that your 800 number sent me prepared documentation tells me this happens a lot.

The light level from this fan is too low, I will be replacing it.

There is a light humming at the highest speed and a lighter hum at medium speed, from the motor. Install was okay. Broke one of the long screws trying to see if I could screw it in without pre-drilling. Disappointed with how easily it broke. Would like the threaded holes to be thicker or stronger or both though. You're supposed to screw everything tight so nothing comes loose and makes noise or extra noise or so the fan doesn't fall down but it's too easy to strip the threads of the holes. I almost stripped three of them trying to tighten the screws. Better construction and higher quality fasteners preferred.

This fan was purchased to replace a 37 year old Hunter fan that had started to make noises during the night. Both are 52" four bladed fans. The old fan had what was referred to as a "schoolhouse" enclosure covering the single LED bulb. We were always comfortable with the old fan running at either low or medium speed, depending on the season. We find that we have to run the new one at high speed to get the equivalent airflow sensation. The light fixture on the old fan produced significantly more light than the new one. At its brightest setting, the new one brings a dark room to a level that could best be described as twilight. I have yet to check to see if brighter bulbs are available without risking an overload. On the plus side, the new fan is significantly quieter than the old one. The remote control (purchased separately) works very well but rests loosely in its wall mounted holder, causing it to wiggle when its buttons are pushed.

Our 4th Hunter fan in our home. Works great with clear easy-to-follow installation instructions.
