Design Flaw
Screws to secure motor to mounting bracket are too short. I needed to find longer screws and then the fan stopped shaking significantly.

Like some of the others have mentioned, the fan does not last. Starts making noises and motor burns out.

Hunter fans are high quality and quiet.
I had Hunter fans in 3 bedrooms for 20 years then replaced the most used one when failing with a different brand. It was so noisy I would often get up in the night to turn it off. I replaced it with another Hunter only one year later. The remaining 2 fans are still working and quiet. I will never again purchase a fan other than a Hunter.

Ceiling-Flush Hunter Fans for Kids Rooms
For the kids rooms, I'm a fan of low-profile/flush fans, and this one is a beauty of one. The Hunter fans aren't as strong as they used to be, but it's strong enough on high, and they are very stable out of the box with no balancing necessary. Most of my rooms have Hunter fans in them these days.

Quiet fan
This is the second one we’ve installed. One suggestion is an alert in fan assembly to let you know that remote wiring needs to be incorporated in initial install. Remote comes in separate shipment so when we installed first fan we got it all assembled and then opened remote and had to take fan apart. Remembered for the second install. Only other disappointment, this remote is gray vs. white.

Noisy fan.
I like the style of the fan. This is the second one I have purchased in this style. The first one started making noise after 2 years. The second one I just installed made noise instantly. Not very satisfied with Hunter.

Bent blade/bracket
One blade and/or bracket we received in this set was bent so the fan shakes. We’ve emailed to either get a replacement blade/bracket or see if we can return the entire fan but we have not heard back in a week. All the other (4) fans we received are perfect!!

Hunter Low profile fan 52 inch
I've always been a fan of Hunter Fans. This one is not quite as quiet as previous fans (including the same model I've purchased previously). But, I believe Hunter still is one of the best out there. I only buy the low profile fans.

Ordered 3 fans. Same size. Different models. 2 balanced the first time through the balancing process. The third took two passes through the balancing processes. I could see, watching where the fan blade mounted that it was off... one blades mounting holes where slightly off and I could see the difference with the fan on high speed. I was able to balanc the FSN after a lengthy process.
