Misleading label
It has a misleading name! The front label says salted peanuts. I assumed the ingredients were peanuts and salt. But also it has gelatin, smoke flavoring, garlic, onions, cornstarch, and corn syrup. Throwing this away. I just wanted salted peanuts!

Onions and garlic? Really?
Honestly so frustrating that these are marketed and labeled as “salted dry roasted peanuts”, when in fact ONION powder and GARLIC powder are among the many ingredients listed. What?! If I wanted seasoned peanuts, that’s what I would’ve bought! I am an avid reader of ingredient labels and I won’t make this mistake again, but I’d foolishly assumed that because they were labeled as salted dry roasted peanuts, that’s what they’d be. Salted and roasted Peanuts are often used as a salty contrast in many desserts— it would be a gross mistake to use these in peanut clusters or peanut brittle…. And that isn’t even to mention the problem for those of us just looking for a snack and the clean flavor of a roasted and salted peanut, only to taste onions and garlic. This label is so misleading.

Not dry roasted
Not dry roasted . I’ve purchased these peanuts before and they had like a nice seasoned coating on the outside of salty which I love these were like just peanuts with a little tiny bit of salt and they are so bland. I can’t even eat them. They’re horrible. Why does planters keep on changing their stuff? They could put something on the label that says New recipe or something.

I buy these peanuts for a special treat for my Honey. He says they always taste fresh and crunchy and the saltiness is perfect. I like that you get a large container for the price and they don't have a lot of additives. Bet he'll ask for these in his Christmas stocking!

misleading product
this is not okay to sell a product with all these ingredients when you sell a nearly identical one that is labeled lightly salted that only has salt and peanuts. I was buying the lightly salted ones and assumed this one was the same but with a regular amount of salt. Planters im really dissapointed in you, it should be labelted seasoned peanuts if you are going to add 20 other ingredients besides salt.

Misleading lable, Contains Gelatin
The front label does not make this clear that these peanuts are seasoned with flavors and includes gelatin. This means these peanuts are not vegetarian or vegan friendly. The front label really seems to be saying these are just peanuts roasted with salt. I find this really misleading and disappointing that animals died for peanuts.

Delicious and reasonable snack
The subtle extra seasoning really makes a full flavor. These were hard to find after I bought them on a special promotion. Finally saw online that my Target had them so I bought three within an hour.
