Guests are saying
The recent reviews of these cinnamon rolls indicate a significant decline in quality and flavor, with many guests expressing disappointment over the change from traditional rolled dough to a biscuit-like texture. While some guests still enjoy the convenience and nostalgic value of these rolls, the lack of cinnamon flavor and icing has led to a mixed reception. Guests are looking for a return to the original recipe that made these a beloved breakfast treat.

Not A Cinnamon Roll
Purchased the original 8 count CINNAMON ROLLS. First, the packaging was terrible. The outer wrapping did not come off as it should to allow easy access to the canister’s seams. Secondly, it was instantly clear that what was inside was not a cinnamon roll. It was just a circled pile of dough with very minimal cinnamon bits. Lastly, the icing was nearly nonexistent as well. Our family thought it was a manufacturer error; a true accident. But seeing all of these reviews, it is clear this is what the product has become. Will never purchase again and truly wish there was a way to get a refund. Zero stars (but gave one because you can’t give zero stars).

We're sorry for the disappointment. We have two different types of cinnamon rolls. The Original PB Sweet Rolls 8 Ct. is dough with a stamped or embossed spiral on top with cinnamon chips, making it easier for smaller hands to handle, whereas all of our Grands! Cinnamon Rolls are rolled dough with cinnamon between the layers. We’ve sent you an email to gather additional details, so please check your inbox as well as your junk or filtered folders. We hope to hear from you soon.

Not a roll!
They have almost zero cinnamon flavor because they’re no longer a cinnamon roll, they’re a puck with a few cracked, flat “cinnamon” triangles smashed on top. Some have no topping at all! The bottom shelf cheapo store brand is somehow better quality than Pillsbury! What happened?

Horrible
These were horrible. They weren’t rolled up, just a biscuit. Cinnamon topping in 2 of 8. Very little taste.

Not good anymore
They are no longer actually made of rolled dough. They lack flavor and the texture is like a biscuit. There's no reason anymore to buy name brand when you can get a similarly unpleasant product for far cheaper in the store brand. Not worth the purchase.

Ruined a great product
These used to be my favorite breakfast treat. They were gooey and cinnamon-y and wonderful, and now they are not. They aren't even cinnamon rolls! They are just cinnamon flavored biscuits! It was a nostalgic treat from my childhood and it's completely ruined. I do not recommend this product at all anymore. I can't believe they ruined it to make a little bit more money.

Dry and not enough frosting.
I have been having these for over 40 years. I don't know what happened but lately they are dry and not enough icing. What was changed? Why was it changed?

Don’t waste your money
The can only had 4 rolls, instead of 5. There was a vacant space where there was supposed to be a roll. The rolls didn’t rise and had a terrible flavor. Had to give a star review, but a star is highly overrating the product.

What's up with the icing?
Is it normal for the icing to no longer come in the plastic container, but just directly in the tube?

Thank you for a disappointing Sunday morning when I find out that these Cinnamon rolls are not rolls. They are buns. Good job ruining your product.

Bring back the OG
I always loved the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. My step daughter and I bought some to bake and I have to say I was so disappointed. What happened!?! First it’s just a biscuit now with barely any cinnamon flavor. And even the icing is different and not in a good way either. These cinnamon rolls now tastes like flavorless icing on a dry biscuit. I was so disappointed. Bring back the original recipe please.

Not cinnamon roll, its a bisquit.
Biscuit not a cinnamon roll. Horrible advertising. I like the taste but this should be illegal to call it a cinnamon roll.

Why call it a roll???
It's not a roll, just a biscuit. False advertising with this cash grabbing scam. Just buy the cheap store brand instead, those are actual rolls.

So sorry for the confusion! If you're looking for the Cinnamon Rolls that can be unrolled, please try our 'Grands' Cinnamon Rolls instead. Our original cinnamon rolls are more biscuit-like to make it easier for kids to eat and to use for recipes. Thank you for reaching out.

Fond memories GONE
Haven’t had these in a while, and now I know why. Hardly taste any cinnamon. Before I could even taste, the first thing I noticed was how much smaller the icing packet was. Why, would you sell a product without enough icing to cover all the “rolls” aka shorty flavorless biscuits. Save your money and memories, bc this a clear example of corporate greed, every corner has been cut to deliver you the cheapest cinnamon roll with maximum profit. Gross.

False advertising
These are not cinnamon ROLLS They are bland dry non rising biscuits. NEVER buying again and you should refund for lying and calling them rolls when they clearly are not
