Purchased this can of Pears, opened it up and this was inside. that would have hurt if swallowed. Obviously we now need check the cans.

Great with mixed fruit!
I wasn't to pleased with the taste but they were okay overall. I made a smoothie with them and just ate right out of the can. The freshness could have been fresher also. Great value and price an nice packaging.

The Very Best!
I have always preferred Del Monte brand fruits. They just taste so much better than other brands I've tried. They are a bit more pricey, but the quality of their fruits more than makes up for it. Pears in particular are my favorite fruit and I buy them every single week. Absolutely delicious with unparalleled quality and firmness of their fruits. Highly recommend!

I’ve always been 50/50 when it comes to pears. Sometimes I like/love them, other times I don’t really care for them. I have started to like them a lot more than I use to! These are definitely some better ones that’s for sure!!

I recieved product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These pears have a very pleasant taste, albeit very sweet! I really like the texture of the pears. The pears are soft but not mushy, just slightly firm. I also like that the heavy syrup does not have a thick consistency. I was expecting a cough syrup type thickness, but it's much more thin almost like a natural juice consistency. So it mixes well into cottage cheese or yogurt without watering down what you're adding it to. Tastes just like a juicy pear, but with added sweetness.
