When my kid had it she spit it on her mother and it was so gross she cried! The second time she took it she tried to pour it down the sink and then she “accidentally” spilled it! So it’s gross and that’s a fact! DO NOT GIVE YOUR CHILD THIS MEDICINE!!! When she took it she started hopping around and flailing her arms out and yelling “IT’S GROSS CALL 911!!!” - dictated to me by my disgusted child

Best kids cough medicine around in my opinion.

We’ve used this a couple times for different bouts of sick, I’d say it seems best when you start it before things get really bad. This time we swapped to it from Claritin when his cough was already productive and it really hasn’t been helping much. But I’d say overall it’s usually great, I’d just recommend starting it before symptoms get worse!

Why is there Red 40 in this?

This worked quickly to calm a lingering cough and helped my child sleep better through the night. The cherry flavor wasn’t a fight either, which is a win!

It provided effective relief, allowed my son to finally get a good night’s sleep, and the manageable taste was an added bonus. With proper administration, it can be a game-changer in easing a little one’s discomfort. Just remember to follow the dosing instructions closely for maximum effectiveness!

While this works like a cough medicine should, it does not taste great. I know meds don’t taste great to begin with, but this one is next level. It’s pretty awful. Kids need a chaser or won’t take.

This stuff tastes revolting. Threw it out after the second dose because my daughter was literally gagging trying to get it down, and she’s normally pretty reasonable about taking medicine.

My son hated the taste of this. I had to try it myself and it was pretty bad.

My son has been battling a cold for almost a week with a terrible sounding cough where his chest rattled. We gave him the smallest dose for his category and within about 15 minutes he had a big cough and coughed up a huge loogie. Then his nose started draining. He blew his nose and had so much mucus come house. After that he is sounding pretty clear. Only negative is the taste. My son complained it was yucky and actually cried. I tasted it and it wasn’t THAT bad, but to a 4 year old it is. Otherwise AMAZING product.

After looking up every cough medicine for kids out there I finally gave in and bought this mucinex. My daughter has been NON STOP coughing for about two/three days now so bad her school called because she wasn’t able to control it. Yesterday night I gave her some IT WORKS WONDERS! It was her first night in almost 4 days getting a good night sleep. Definitely recommend!!!
