    Coffee and Chicory Lover

    Of all of the wonderful coffees that Community Coffee sells, the Coffee and Chicory is my absolute favorite! It’s a robust reminder of the days gone by when chicory was added to coffee to make it go farther. It’s actually a Southern tradition!

    The DELICIOUS taste of happy childhood memories...

    This coffee is smooth & delicious!!! It conjures fond childhood memories of my Great Aunt Esther (on North Rampart Street in the Quarters of New Orleans) during summer visits. SHE brewed the first cup of coffee that I ever tasted... and it was Chicory Coffee. "Au Lait", of course! And, I enjoyed dunking my ginger snap cookies into every cup. This (& oysters) turned me into a Foodie - for life!!!

    Ground Coffee with Chicory

    The first time I had this coffee was many, many years ago in New Orleans at Cafe Dumont. It was so spectacular that I have been buying it from Community Coffee ever since. It gives me that robust flavor and is never bitter. I have it every day!

    Smooth Chickory

    I received your coffee as a gift. I loved it so much, I needed to get more and I purchased a 12 ounce bag of it. However, I have an issue with acidic coffees. I bought the chickory and coffee blend and had no issues with acidity. The flavor was smooth with the medium roast. Thank you for a great cup of Joe!

    Community Chicory Coffee

    I first drank chicory coffee twenty plus years ago when I went on vacation to New Orleans. I brought back five cans of local chicory coffee. Fast forward 2-3 years ago I stumbled on Community Coffee & Chicory and I’ve been drinking it ever sense!! It embodies the same rich flavor and I literally have a zen moment each morning after my first sip. This coffee is an experience and I start by using it in either my French press or I make one cup at a time via pour over. I add cream and on occasion a dash of cinnamon. Sublime! Enjoy 😊 SheilaD

    This purchase of Ground Coffee and Chicory was a Christmas present for our hairdresser, Jeff. He is a native of Louisiana and always talks about growing up there and his early adult years in that great state.     Less expensive than local grocery store.

    Love Community coffee! This purchase was a gift to my sister. I was able to purchase her favorite Community coffee on the webiste for less than she can purchase it at her local grocery store. She lives in a vacation oriented city where prices are high. I met the required pirchase so shipping was free. I so appreciated that!

    Only brand my husband will drink
