This is the only cleanser that maintains clear skin on my back and fights acne better than anything else I’ve tried. But the flip lid on the bottle is so cheap and thin. The lid never locks down so I’m unable to travel with it for fear of leaking out. It also fell once in the shower, which is to be expected, and the lid hinge split in half so now it sits upright in an awkward position until it’s used up. This is the second bottle I’ve gotten like this and it’s so annoying.

Both of my teenage nieces have oily skin that is acne prone. We tried several cleansers and this was a good option. The La Roche Posay cleanser for oily skin is a thick gel that feels very luxe on your skin. This works on normal and oily skin types. Creates a thick lather that leaves your skin feeling clean without any tightness. With use, it helped cut back oils in the t zone area. It worked with their acne prone skin and didn’t cause any irritation or dryness. Gentle enough for daily use. None of us found this to be drying or left with tight skin. If you have dehydrated, oily skin, I don’t think this will hydrate enough. Definitely helps with truly oily skin. Can be pricey for the size, try to catch it on sale

I liked how it made my face feel after and I liked the smell but after only using it 3 times, a night, the next morning, and night, I woke up with bumps all over my face I guess it was an allergic reaction. They were skin colored bumps not too noticeable thankfully but this has never happened to me and I’ve tried many different brands of face wash. It’s been a week off of it and I still have some bumps left. I live order products from this brand but this one really failed.

I used this product after giving birth when my hormones were out of whack. And it was amazing. I've had the packaging for a really long time. The texture is nice, the scent is unobtrusive. Omg this smells so bad. Like MOTH BALLS. The smell does not wash away easily. I have used some stinky skin care products and this is by far the worst smelling one.
