Q: Is this the same as bulgogi sauce or is there a difference?

  • A: I use this in my Korean Bulgogi dinner every time and it’s amazing. I cook it in with the beef. If you look up what Bulgogi sauce is it’s just Korean BBQ sauce and this does say it’s a “sauce & marinade” so you could definitely use it!

Hit or Miss

It was delicious when I got one that wasn't messed up. Had some delivered and the clear wrap around the top of the lid wasn't on correct, and somehow the sauce was leaking out. Another case was when I poured it into my pot of chicken, there was globs of somewhat clear stuff. When it was an actual good jar, it was delicious. If you save it overnight it does make the food sweeter. What I found to help was cooking it with green onions.

Highly recommend! It’s soooo good. DO NOT season your chicken/beef . This has a lot of sodium and will leave your food super salty if you do. I learned the hard way the first time I used it. Also don’t recommend to season rice if you’re thinking of having it as a side. Just eat it with the sauce and you’ll be good

The flavor was authentic, but didn't overpower the flavor of the salmon. It was easy to add to the fish and only took 30 minutes to marinate. I would definitely try this sauce again!
