Great Flavor

All the Flavor, 2/3 the Sodium
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The taco seasoning is everything we love and have come to know with McCormick products, but this one is a little healthier on the heart with 30% less sodium. As someone with hypertension, less sodium in my diet is welcome, and I have been mixing my own taco seasonings over the past few years to control the salt in my seasoning. I can tell you that this product has all of the flavors I've come to know and love in McCormick taco seasoning and I do not miss the salt at all.

It's okay.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. I think this seasoning was really, really bland. The flavor is okay, obviously being lower sodium the flavor will change, but it's surprising how bland it is. I used 1lb 90/10 ground beef, fried it up with onion, added a bit of water... and it was not great. It's like whispers of taco seasoning. I think if you are sensitive to salt, or flavor in general (not in a mean way), this is probably good. I am neither, and it was only okay.

Delicious

Tasty Without the Sodium!

I used it with my ground beef for nachos, and for a change, there was more of a salt taste with the chips as it should be! Definitely go with the lesser sodium variation if you want the same taste but less guilt!

Taco Tuesday Staple

I followed the taco recipe on the back of the package but substituted ground turkey in place of beef. Even with 30% less sodium the end result was flavorful and tasty. Tossed in taco shells with some lettuce and cheese and it was perfection. Would recommend and use again for a quick taco Tuesday (or any day) meal.

Great Time Saver!

The flavor really came through and smelled great while I was cooking. I don't usually do low sodium options but I was happy that it didn't really taste different than what I was expecting, it makes up for the less sodium through the robust flavor of the other spices. There's a good amount in here too for a single packet.

Ready to eat
