A: not that I am aware of - we have 2 small dogs & have add numerous small children within our house hold and we have never had a problem with any “toxic molecules”

A: Absolutely, Eve. The WetJet Wood is safe to use on finished hardwood and bamboo, ceramic, laminate, linoleum and vinyl floors. It's safe for sealed granite and marble floors. Contact the manufacturer of the floor for any questions or test on a hidden area of the floor before use. Use only on sealed, finished flooring. Sad purchase
I am sorry I purchased the Wet Jet for the same reasons stated by others. It does not clean the floor. It leaves a residue that my white socks can attest to. I also never even thought about the plastic bottle/multiple pads that I would be adding to the landfill. An overall terrible mistake.

Not This Swiffer Wet Jet Mop Model
Like many other reviewers, my Swiffer Wet Jet Mop stopped working after a year. I tried everything to get it working again. Super duper double A batteries, clearing the 2 teeny tiny holes on the front of the mop and in the 2 holes where the solution goes. At this point I realize, my only option was to take it apart. I soaked the mop part in hot water and kept the batteries and higher parts free of the water. I could see the solution moving in the clear tubing inside, so after an hour of soaking the mop I pushed down on the area that the solution goes in while pushing the button on the handle both when it had soaked for a bit in the hot water and again after I drained the water and dried it for 48 hours, all while the Swiffer Wet Jet Mop was still apart and tested it again. Again nothing came out of it. I worked for 2 days, bought the tools to dismantle and put it back together. I bought the entire kit and additional items to use it. This mop should last much longer than a year. I also discovered that Swiffer is aware of this problem, but still continues selling it. I can't advise anyone to buy this mop as is. It's sad because I was really happy with the product while it worked. At this point, I would appreciate if someone sent me a better mop replacement, like a different more reliable model for all of my troubles. Thank you for your consideration.

The product does the job, but it keeps breaking
The first time I bough the suiffer i was happy with the results, however, the handle brake after using the product for only 2 months. I went and bough another one, but it lasted only one month, but the same thing happened, the handle keeps braking, and this time I was very careful on how hard I scrub the floor, however, it brakes again. I waited a couple of months, so I went I bought another one, and it just brake, after using it for only 3 weeks. That's 3 Suifers in a 6-month period. I won't be buying this product anymore.

Stops working
When it works it’s fine, but good luck trying to change the batteries. The call center is somewhat helpful when you do have issues, but they’ll just give you the number to the manufacturer which is actually just a bot. Not helpful, probably wont re buy if i cant get mine to work.

If you haven't tried this already, wipe the sprayer nozzles with a damp cloth to make sure they're not clogged. Your WetJet also might need priming. Hold the button on the handle for several seconds until spray comes out of the nozzles (hopefully!). You may need to squeeze the solution bottle gently while pressing the spraying button. If these tips don't get it working again, or you still need help with replacing the batteries, please call our human team of Swiffer experts at (800) 742-9220.

Perfect for Car Dusting
I use it in my car to wipe off dust, and it works great! It reaches hard to get spots like vents and corners, and it actually collects the dust instead of just moving it around. Very handy to keep in the car.

Junk. Just buy a regular mop.
AVOID. Bought a WetJet almost ten years ago at the insistence of my girlfriend. We used it once, then it sat unused for a few years, and when I used it again the pole bent. She insisted we get another; all the poles are extremely thin and prone to this problem, so the replacement basic Swiffer is used very gently and the floors aren't much cleaner after use. With having to buy the dry and slighty-damp towels to put on them, I've spent a fortune for dirty floors, when I should have spent a fraction of the money on an immortal mop and bucket.

Revived my FrankenSwiffer!
I like it, but it's a bit of a pain. My older model Wet Jet died, but I found the battery compartment between the bottle and handle. I replaced the four AAs, and voila! I'm back in the kitchen while my wife is sunning on the deck, wearing only a little more than her floppy hat. Thanks, Swiffer.

I have bought a few. The last couple did not last at all. The concept is great. But the product is lacking. I have 2 dead swiffers that I keep trying to revive. No such luck.

Unhappy with delivery
I’m very sorry to say that I’m very disappointed in Target. They delivered my replacement item to the wrong address. I don’t understand what happened, the first delivery was fine except for not receiving the swifer. I’d really like to have my replacement swifer, because it was kind of a gift. I’m hoping Target can help me resolve this issue soon! Anxiously awaiting.

Never again!
Complete junk, doesn't work at all! Other reviewers are correct, something is now wrong with all Swiffer wetjet mops. Doesn't spray at all. Changed batteries multiple times and no luck. I've been using this product for decades and now never again. Faulty defective product!

Didn't Work At All

A lot of thought and research goes into the design of our products, and our products undergo many quality checks to ensure realiable performance. We’re here to help, and have a few tips to help you troubleshoot this. First, be sure to double check that the parts of the handle are fully clicked together, and the handle if fully inserted into the base. Next, double check that any packing material has been removed from inside the cradle that holds the cleaning solution bottle. Insert the bottle of solution in the bottle compartment by lining up the flat side of the bottle (with an arrow on it) with the pole of the mop. Push the bottle into the device until it is secure. DO NOT remove or puncture the cap on the bottle. If the problem is the motor is engaging when you press the dispensing button, it could be a battery issue. First, make sure the batteries are installed correctly, and the battery compartment is fully closed. You should hear a click when closing. If they are installed correctly but the WetJet isn't running when you press the button, we recommend trying fresh AA alkaline batteries (all from the same package). If the motor is running but no cleaning solution is coming out, the WetJet may need priming. Hold the button on the handle for several seconds until spray comes out of the nozzles. You may need to squeeze the solution bottle gently while pressing the spraying button. If you need any further assistance, our Swiffer Team is standing by, ready to help! Zero stars. This product is horrible for the environment and a drain on your pocket book as the plastic canister is not refillable. As such, in addition to replacing the pads forever, prepare to purchase plastic canisters for the life of the unit. That's greedy, P & G. Do better.

Just didn't last
I got another WetJet Mop to replace the one I had for many years. This one stopped working before six months was up. It worked fine, right up until it just stopped working. Changed battery. No go. Inspected it. No obvious problem just stopped working after a few months of light duty.
