I bought this slightly smaller model with some trepidation (it fit my budget better) but so far I'm very happy with it. This mixer has seen heavy use for the last month and has done a fine job with bread dough, cookie dough, cake batter, and frosting. I bake a lot of bread so the ability to handle bread dough is important to me; so far this machine is doing fine. The color is nice, too. No complaints!

The only thing I think could use an upgrade is the way the bowl attaches to the bottom, it comes loose so easy, If I use the mixer at a higher speed or when I make dough the bowl works it way loose I wish it was more of a screw on instead of one small area to "catch".

I used it to make mashed potatoes, and they turned out so smooth and creamy with hardly any effort. Then, I whipped up some banana bread, and the mixer handled the batter beautifully—no lumps and perfect consistency. I even made whipped cream in minutes, and it was light and fluffy! This mixer is a total game changer in the kitchen. Highly recommend!”

For mixing cake batter or whipping cream works great however, When I’m trying to make any kind of dough it will just unlock the bowl!! I’m so disappointed!!

I got this mixer for a Christmas gift to myself. I just opened it up and the paint is already chipped off two of the attachments. I am so disappointed. This mixer was pricey and the attachments are cheap. I can’t mix food with chipped paint attachments. It would get in my food. I was excited to get this mixer. Brand new and I can’t even use it. I’m going to have to take it back. I give this a 0 stars. Useless attachments.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) There is a reason why every homebaker ends up getting one of these. The features are so simple to understand and the product is user friendly. Its so simple that there is barely any need to even read the manual. Used this to help with my rum cakes this Christmas and this helped me churn through them like it was nothing. Its heavy to move around but that heft gives you such confidence that you are buying this for life. If they have not cut any corners and maintained the quality for what these stand mixers were know for, I am pretty sure this will end up in my will.
