(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) So far I've used it about 5 times. I use it weekly for bread dough and I do make quite heavy dough - 30% caraway rye german-style bread. I can see that the machine has to work really hard. One of the reasons I bought Kitchen Aid was, because it is all metal and I didn't trust the machines with plastic frame. I can see to torque twisting the top when kneading. In conclusion, it does the (heavy) job without overheating and without any issues. I hope it will work like that even after a year or two. So far it seems I'm getting my money worth from this gadget.
Top quality, great features, easy to use

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Ab Suitably love this mixer, got the meat grinder and shredder slicer attachments and this thing rocks. I've made bread with it and over filled the bowel it didn't care it didn't even slow down just keep going. shredding stuff is amazing. 10 inch carrot sliced paper thin seconds. I make excuses to use it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We got the mixer as a wedding gift, and while it was slow beginnings, we use it every week (nearly every other day). It started with simple prep for baked sweets and eventually we made the move savoury; it has an intuitive design and is easy to use. We started looking-up some new attachments with our mind set on grinding our own meats for ground beef and sausages (a first)! So whether its for the big/small treats, or new skills and surprises, the kitchen aid stand mixer is a must-have in any kitchen.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) For many years, I’ve seen KitchenAid stands at homes of friends, and wondered if they were really better than my hand mixer. Three months ago, I bought a 4.5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer and it’s been a game changer! I use the mixer at least 4 times a week, and the ease, convenience, and practicality of it have been great. The attachments that came with it are easy to use, easy to clean, and very efficient. I’ve made everything from salad dressing to bread dough to cake batters, and now, I wouldn’t be without this appliance.
I finally own one!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've been wanting one for so long and I finally bought one! I'm so glad I did. I love the look of it, and it makes light work of kneading dough, making cookies and even shredding cooked chicken
It is well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is okay. It is not plastic. I bought it because it is a Kitchenaid which has an excellent reputation so I expect that it will last. Frankly, it is hard to add ingredients to the mixer because it is so narrow. The beater is okay and I do have to stop and push batter back down which is okay. I had a Sunbeam Mixmaster with two beaters and two dough hooks. It was made well with metal and was a real workhorse and lasted a long time (I inherited mine from my mom). The main advantage was that the bowl was wide enough for me to add sugar while whipping butter, or eggs, or liquids. I liked the shape of the bowl versus the Kitchenaid which is cone shaped and awkward to pour out batter. I expect to come to appreciate my Kitchenaid with more use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got a newer one the new kitchenaide doesn’t work right and it is still having issues. When I mix things on the one setting or two it like cuts out so I have to use a higher number to use for the mixer. I’m very disappointed in the kitchenaide that I’ve got twice now.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've wanted a stand mixer for when I make my Christmas cookies. I tested it out on a batch of cookies and was very happy with it's performance. I still personally prefer my KitchenAid hand mixer when I make a single batch but this will be a lifesaver for a whole day of Christmas baking!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) i bought a cheaper mixer to see if I would use it at leas twice a week.. Since I did. and enjoyed it, I decided to buy a kitchen aid.. Wow. What a difference.. It will do a double bread recipe with ease. It doesn't strain it. makes my cookies light and airy And I'm now making my own bread every three days or so.. I'm retired, so I have time.. This Kitchen aid mixer is the best money that I've spent in quite a while. I recommend it to anyone who thinks they want to bake bread or the cookies. or just mix the heck out of anything. Worth every penny.
