Smells great , but somehow managed to leave my hair feeling dried out/ frizzy & weighed down at the same time . Will be returning . Normally when I try something out that I don’t like I keep it as backup for guests , but I wouldn’t even put this out for them.

I really like how this conditioner makes my hair feel — it leaves it soft, a little fuller, and not weighed down. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I was expecting more of a strong lavender scent, and it’s definitely more subtle than I hoped. If you’re looking for volume and a gentle fragrance, it’s great. If you’re a lavender lover like me wanting that stronger calming scent, it may feel a little light. Still a solid buy for the price! 💜

I have been using the Dove Lavender & Volume Damage Therapy Conditioner for a little while now. I think it is a nice product. My hair gets especially dry in the winter so I was very happy to try it out. I think this is a nice conditioner. It really does a good job at moisturizing my hair. I started seeing a difference after trying it once. I like its creamy texture. I think the scent is nice but personally after a little while I find it a bit too overpowering in my taste and smells a little too chemically. That's maybe the only downside I would see. I do love that it gives me more volume after I blow dry my hair. Over all this is a very nice product. I would recommend this conditioner to my friends.

I feel like it is like a sweet floral vanilla. I have fine, flat hair, and the conditioner did a decent job of softening it without it looking weighed down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This conditioner is labeled lavender and volume. Aimed at helping repair damaged hair with bio-protein. I was only sent the conditioner to test not the shampoo so I used this with my normal shampoo. To start scent wise this is a little weird to. It does not smell bad at all, just not what I would expect seeing lavender on the bottle. I get a vague bit of lavender, and then the closest thing I can think of is faint coconut. I had a couple of people in my house also smell it because I thought I was going mad, but they all agreed it has a vague coconut kind of tropical smell. Smell wise it definitely fits close to that salon shampoo smell. Again it still smells good, just not expected from a lavender product. The scent is also one that last and sticks around in your hair for a while. I don't mind it, but if you are someone who prefers their shampoo and conditioners to fade and not be smell able all day this is probably not for you. As a conditioner it applied easily, but did take a little extra rinsing to feel like it was fully out. As for being a conditioner it was okay. My hair felt good and didn't feel dry, but my hair was definitely on the frizzier side with this conditioner versus my usual. With how frizzy my hair was after drying I would of assumed it was summer humidity kicking in and not reality of mid winter close to 0 and very dry. It also states it is supposed to help with volume, which I didn't really notice either. It just doesn't seem to work well with my hair. Next time I am at the store I will see if they carry the matching shampoo and see that makes any difference. But as of right now the conditioner doesn't work for my hair. Maybe if you have finer and less wavy hair it may work better. There is nothing really negative about it overall, I would still recommend people give it a shot if they are looking a conditioner to help with volume and damage.
