Waste of money
I bought these a few months ago, yes you can cut them but what the company does not tell you is once you cut them, the piece that isn't attached to the power supply will not connect to the app even if you reattach them to a strip that has power. Cut these lights and the cut piece is worthless

Only works when hard wired
Will not hold a charge, from the first time opened. Was easy to affix, easy to install on the wall. The ap to control it sucks. Would not work with the motion detector.

Try a different brand instead
Wish they came with a remote. My son and I spent a lot of time and mental energy setting them up and they still aren’t working together. Wish we would’ve gotten a different brand.

Dissapointing product
The adhesive did not hold for even 24 hours. Very disappointed, as was my son. Do not buy this product unless mounting it on the top/horizontal side of a shelf or desk as the adhesive will not hold on anything vertical.

Not worth the edfort.
If I could get them to connect to WiFi, I’m sure they’d be great. I will be returning these and getting the Govee lights that I know will connect.

Live in a retirement community and trying to connect to WiFi to get these lights to be yellow is not worth the hassle of WiFi and Bluetooth. Ha I just want yellow lights. You should have 3 or 4 basic colors programmed like Christmas tree lights. Lights are not worth the hassle of getting app WiFi bluetooth

Pros; Bright, LED's run cool, dynamic light shows are nice, good colors. Super strong 3M adhisive back. cheap Cons; Barrel power plug. Basically one time use in the sense that you will not be able to reinstall this properly.

Great strip unfortunately the sticky backing is terrible. & Not enough mounting hardware provided either. Installation was complicated for it only to be down by the next day. 😣
