a good budget replacem ent for barilla chickpea spaghetti
if you've read the other reviews, yes. it does get mushy. but it's not like regular pasta doesn't do the same thing! i wouldn't say it was mushy like the other reviews, but it was a lot less firm than you would expect with a name brand like barilla. i would say don't go by the boxe's instructions. boil it for around 6 minutes at max and check the texture!!! it is edible, but the taste doesn't hold a candle to barilla. if you're pairing it with something more hearty, like marinara and beef, this shouldn't be an issue. (there's some red noodles in the picture, that was from an almost empty box of barilla, not the good and gather i am reviewing.)

Dont buy save your money
I follow instructions as directed on the box and the pasta came out mushy. I proceeded to add the sauce and after taking a bite the pasta’s texture changed to some being alenté and other just mush. The overall flavor was not. I wasn’t able to mix it well with the pasta sauce because the pasta was just a big lump. I wouldn’t recommend. It’s 1/2 a pound of pasta.
