Great tub of avocado
These are so great. So easy to use. One tub is ideal portion for one serving. You can add salsa to make guacamole or just smear on toast for avocado toast. So much easier than dealing with an avocado.

I have trouble finding ripe Hass avocados up in New England, but these are always good.
I have not had good luck finding properly ripe Hass avocados up in New England. in Florida, the first thing you look for is the rich purple and then you check for the softness. I think up here you're maybe supposed to focus on the softness and not the color of the skin. I never would have bought green tinged one in Florida without planning on ripening it on the counter, I believe I was taught from an organics subscription that first you ripen them and then you refrigerate them once you want the riping to halt. *it might be worth double-checking/fact checking that for accuracy as it was at least 5 years ago, and I don't always have the patience to experiment since I moved. while I don't get as much avocado, I do like that it's reliable avocado. while there is some plastic, it reduces the food waste in the trial and error in frustration, and is superbly portable for when you know you can't get back home for a meal, put want something healthy. this is a favorite item of mine. I really like it on a bagel, with or without egg it's delicious. I don't think I ever would have tried it with egg. had somebody else not brought that up. it also works anywhere where you would use mayonnaise. and even on a sandwich that also has mayonnaise. I am generally a picky eater and into bland things but it's full of healthy fats

Lemon with avocado
Those who truly loves the taste of avocado without added seasoning, I would not recommend this. I did not realize there was lemon juice added to this. The lemon juice is the only thing you can taste. Completely ruined my avocado toast. When you search for strictly avocado mash and not guacamole you don’t think you’re going to get avocado with added ingredients. This was just terrible. I bought 2 packs and I’m taking the unopened pack back. This was my fault I should have looked at the ingredients and the photo with the lemon in the bottom corner.

Not worth the convenience
I did not like the taste of this at all! I absolutely love making avocado toast, but hate trying to pick out good avocados so I bought this instead. I know it’s made with lemon juice which I have mixed into my avocado mash before so I thought I wouldn’t mind the taste. However, this product doesn’t taste anything like avocados, and it’s super sour as other reviews have said. I would stay away!

This is a decent size serving unless you want to eat it with chips. It isn't very good though. It has a strong vinegar taste to it. For freshness? I don't know but it isn't good. Even mixing it with other things, it's hard to avoid that sour taste.
