The salsa has become a staple in my shopping list. It has amazing, delicious flavor. I come from Colorado and I love green chili and salsa Verde, green everything and this is just fulfills the craving every time. I love to use it to smother burritos or to put inside of my tacos. Did I get the only good jar?!
This verde salsa is sooo freaking good. And yes, I’ve been a herdez fan for years but this is better. I keep trying to find things that I can put it on because I can’t just take spoonfuls out of the jar right? 😂 It does have a small amount of heat to it but more flavor than the herdez salsa verde. I looked at the ingredients trying to figure out if I can recreate it since I grow tomatillos!!

Mostly water little salsa
Unfortunately even after reading the reviews for this Salisbury day and seeing that many people said it was to watery I decided to try it anyways and find out for myself and indeed I found out the hard way because this stuff is at least 80% water with the 20% remaining salsa not being that great so I would avoid this product if you're considering trying it for yourself

"Salsa Verde flavored water" is an accurate description. Unbelievably watered down. Other G&G salsas that I've purchased noticeably don't have 'water' listed in the ingredients, let alone the 2nd ingredient. Aside from the consistency, the taste is nearly nonexistent. I'll probably end up dumping this in chili or over some cooked rice just to use it up.

Salsa verde flavored water
I'm shocked that tomatillos managed to be listed before 'water' in the ingredients list, because this is the runniest salsa I have ever seen. The flavor is... fine, but obviously very thin because again, it is *so* watered down. It's a 16oz jar, and about 8oz of salsa and 8oz of water. Will not buy again.
